Happy Valentine's Day

 Happy Monday, Friends!

How many of you stayed up to watch the Super Bowl last night?
We watched up until halftime then headed to bed. I kept checking my phone for scores once it got to the last quarter and was happy the Eagles won! Not my team by any means but was thrilled they beat the Chiefs! So a huge congratulations to them!

Today is my day to get my house cleaning done. I started it yesterday and need to finish up today. So before I get started on that I wanted to share another card I made with retired stuff for Valentine's Day...

Card Details:

Stamps: Wonderful Wishes (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, From My Heart Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Heart Pack Punches (retired), Red & White Twine, Red Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I watched a video on You Tube last week from Tamara's Paper Trail and she created the design with using scraps of DSP and let's be honest....who doesn't have a ton of scrap paper left over from other projects?! I trimmed off the rough edges and glued them down on a strip of 2 x 4 pc of cardstock and them cut off the long ends. Then added my twine bow before I added it to the card on a slant. Once that was done I stamped my sentiment on a slant as well and added a few red rhinestones for a pop of sparkle. Lastly, I added my heart to the center of the DSP panel. So quick & easy! I need to remember this when making more cards to help use up those small bits of scraps!

My thoughts today...

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day!

This IS a great way to use up some of those scraps we all have, and look at the fun result! What a gorgeous Valentine card!
