Happy Thanksgiving Card

Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Today is going to be a fun day!
We are headed out to a couple antique stores this morning.
We haven't done much antiquing the last few weeks so today is very much needed!
Not sure if we will find any treasures but it's always fun looking!

I got a really pretty card to show you today!

This is another one of Angie Juda's fun fold cards but this time I put the card on it's side.
I used some new Come To Gather DSP which is from the SU Holiday Mini Catalog.
The sentiments inside & out are from A Wish For Everything which is from the Annual Catalog.
The leaf on the inside is from the Gather Together set.
It's got wonderful sentiments and some cute pumpkin images in it!
I couldn't stop playing with the set the last 2 days!!

Card Details:

Stamps: Gather Together, A Wish For Everything
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Whisper White, Early Espresso, Come to Gather DSP
Accessories: Gathered Leaves Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Pretty Peacock Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love, love, love this suite of products!
You will be seeing more of it soon!

A Wicked Birthday

Hello & Happy Friday!

This week seemed to fly by for a change!
I am looking forward to the weekend.

Yesterday as I was looking thru my address book I realized a friends birthday is next week.
Since it's so close to Halloween I made her card a little bit Halloween-y!

I pulled out my packs of DSP in the Brights & Regals and found Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape & Pumpkin Pie in this Gingham print and I just kinda went from there and everything fell into place nicely!
I think she will like it since she loves Halloween!
Nothing scary.....just all around cuteness!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wonderfully Wicked
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White, Regals & Brights DSP Packs
Accessories: Stylish Scroll EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Granny Apple Green Ribbon, Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dots, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lots of birthdays coming up and with the craziness of the holidays coming, I thought i'd better get a jump on those cards! It was a fun day!

Autumn Leaf Prints

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a quick & simple card to share!
I dug thru my Fall/Thanksgiving sets and pulled out an oldie called Autumn Leaf Prints.
This set was out in 2005.

The cardbase was stamped with the Leaves Awash Jumbo Wheel that I removed from the wheel and mounted it on cushion to use as a stamp. I am finding I use them much more since I de-wheeled them. I also used my old Corner Rounder Punch on my image and the cardbase.

Card Details:

Stamps: Autumn Leaf Prints (retired), Leaves Awash Jumbo Wheel (retired)
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Corner Rounder Punch, Cajun Craze Twine, Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pumpkin Treat Boxes

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I know....i'm posting really late today!
My hubby was home today since he was up most of the night with his phone ringing.
It even woke me and I snapped at him. It's getting old and we are lacking in the sleep department!
But in a way I was happy to have him home today since it rained buckets here!
I always worry when we get bad weather and he's on the road.

Anyways, I spent all day at my craft table plucking away at my Thanksgiving treats!
I rather enjoyed myself! And I got alot done!
I wanted to update my blog once I got downstairs this morning and I completely forgot.
Better late than never, right?

Tonight I am sharing another Halloween treat I whipped up.
This is something different and just came to me out of the blue once I found this particular treat...

Yep, I found a box of Halloween Oreo cookies at Sam's Club wrapped individually with 2 cookies inside. I was smiling from ear to ear that I found something a bit different than candy!
And besides, who doesn't love Oreo's?!!
As I rooted thru my stash I came across these Kraft boxes that I had from several years ago and luckily my cookies fit nicely inside! WooHoo!

As for stamps, I used a retired Paper Pumpkin set and a sentiment from the Wonderfully Wicked set.
I really like the nice font in it!

Project Details:

Stamps: Wonderfully Wicked (sentiment), Paper Pumpkin Kit (Sept 2018)
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Happy Haunting DSP (retired)
Accessories: Kraft Boxes (retired), Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Halloween Night Twine (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so much fun to create!
I made 18 of these and so far I have 4 left!

An Apple A Day...

Good Morning Y'all & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a quick card to share that I whipped up last week and sent out to a friend.
Hopefully she received it by now!

This card was so much fun to make and i'm really liking the look of the 3-D apple!
I stamped and punched 3 apples in Poppy Parade with the Apple Builder Punch.
Scored them right down the middle with my Simply Score Board and gave them a nice crease with the Bone Folder. I glued them all together and attached them to my Stitched Nested Die once I have my little seeds stamped on.
This is a wonderful little bundle that can make an apple or pumpkin and comes with some cute sentiments!

Card Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello's
Ink: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Whisper White, Brights DSP
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch, Stitched Nested Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Red Rhinestones, Linen Thread, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Apples & pumpkins are in season right now and this set is one of my favorites right now!

I am a fan of honeycrisp apples but I can do without the caramel & chocolate!
Much too sweet for me!

Fall Cards

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Phew, what a weekend!
Yesterday I stayed in my chair all day watching football.
I never got dressed as it was a dreary cloudy day!
Hope you had a nice weekend!

Today I am sharing a set of Fall cards that were created for my card lady.
She always requests no saying on particular cards and this set was one of them.
I left the paper do all the work!

This piece of patterned paper I picked up a few months ago at L&L Rubber Stamps.
I was thinking ahead and thought they would make some pretty Fall cards!
The plaid piece at the bottom is the opposite side of the leaves.
I added some Cajun Craze Twine from the Come To Gather Suite and glued it all together.

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Fall Harvest from Dare 2B Artzy
Accessories: Cajun Craze Twine, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady was really happy with these and said they were perfect!
I rather like these myself!

It's All About the Candy!

Hello & Happy Sunday!

What a weekend it's been so far!

Yesterday began bright & early as I was up early to go to the York Heirloom Stamp Show with my friend, Deb! It's the first we've been to the show in several years and noticed it's getting smaller. Alot of the really good vendors are not there anymore which is so sad.
Anyways, we both picked up a few things and made our way back home but not without running into 3 of the stamp gang! We saw Nan, Karen & Cinda, everyone but Deb R.
Then we picked up Shawn and grabbed some lunch at Kelsey's work.
She was surprised to see us.
Her general manager came over to our table and told us how wonderful of a job she is doing bar-backing and waiting on tables. That's always a thing good to hear about your child!
After that we headed over to Lancaster County to an Antique Store where they were having some Columbus Day sales. Didn't find much there so we headed home then back out to grab some groceries. Today will not be as busy of a day as I said I was not doing much since football is on!
I also need to get bed sheets and blankets washed.
Last night we broke down and turned the heat on. I was trying hard to hold off a bit yet since a week & half ago it was 93 degrees. We also passed on going to the Pumpkin Walk. I don't think I could have walked one more step after my busy day!

Today I have one last thing to share that I made for all the stamp girls to carry their cards & treats home in....A Halloween Gift Bag!

I used that adorable Candy Corn Die that my friend, Mary Anne gifted me with!
I love that thing!

Project Details:

Stamps: A Halloween Hello (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired)
Accessories: Unknown Candy Corn Die, Circle Layering Framelits, Pumpkin Pie Enamel Dots (retired), Crushed Curry Ribbon (retired), Hot Glue Gun, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My package of Motley Monsters DSP is just about done.
I may still try to squeeze in a few more cards with it so I can finally say goodbye to it.
It was definitely one of my favorites for Halloween!

No Tricks, Just Treats

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today I have the last Halloween card to share that we made last Saturday.
This one was quite easy and uses 2 brand new sets from the Stampin Up 2019 Holiday Mini Catalog called Everything Festive and Wonderfully Wicked...

I really liked this card as well as the one from yesterday!
I did most of the work ahead of time for the ladies so they did not get overwhelmed.
The orange panel under the sentiment I had already embossed with the Woodland EF ahead of time.
All they had to do was the stamping and then assemble their cards.
It worked out really well.

Card Details:

Stamps: Everything Festive, Wonderfully Wicked (inside)
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Only Orange (retired), Basic Black, Whisper White, Love Nicole DSP from AC Moore
Accessories: Woodland EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The cardbase for this one uses Only Orange cardstock.
Anyone remember that color??
I only had a few sheets left of it so I decided to use it up.
I am down to just scraps now which is a good thing!

That's all for today!

Jar of Haunts

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

Going to be a nice weekend here in south central PA!
Anyone have any fun plans?

Saturday Night is the Pumpkin Walk at the Rail Trail.
We went to it a few years ago and talked about going this year.
It's such a fun event and we enjoyed seeing all the decorated pumpkins on the 1/2 mile walk!

Today I am sharing card #4 from my World Cardmaking Day event with the ladies.

This is a really fun stamp set that I purchased off Facebook about 2 years ago.
I already had the Everyday Jar Framelits so it made sense to get the Halloween set.
The ladies got this card put together rather quickly except for having issues with the Basic Black Archival ink smearing when we ran the jar die thru the Big Shot. We then switched over to using Memento Black which dried quicker. Live & learn, right?

Card Details:

Stamps: Jar of Haunts (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Memento Black
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Pie Glimmer Paper (retired), Halloween Night DSP (retired)
Accessories: Everyday Jar Framelits, Halloween Night Baker's Twine (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this card...probably my favorite!
The inside says, "have some spooky fun"!

Frights & Delights

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is going well!
I spent most of yesterday down at my stamp table working on Thanksgiving.
After the cards are done I will be moving on to a couple treats.
I don't do alot for this holiday but I have a couple people that love a little treat sitting at each person's table setting.

My card today is one from Saturday that my stamp ladies made and again I used retired products.

Anyone remember this set from 2003?

I told ya I have really been giving my oldies but goodies lots of love!
I decided to ink up that cute spider since I was using the retired SU Spider Web EF.
The saying on the front is from the September 2018 Paper Pumpkin as is the pumpkin on the inside.
The inside sentiment is from the retired Spooky Cat set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Trick or Treat (retired), Paper Pumpkin (retired, Spooky Cat (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Happy Haunting DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Spider Web EF (retired), Black Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The ladies did a fantastic job putting their cards together!

Say It Simply

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Another day of dreary, rainy weather and I guess I should not complain as we do need the rain.

Today I am sharing another card that the ladies made Saturday.
This one uses an old set from 2005 called Say It Simply.
It's a cute little set with snowflakes, a heart, a pumpkin and a Christmas Tree.

I don't think i've used it much over the years so I was determined to use it for my World Cardmaking Day.

I paired up my pumpkin with some retired Motley Monsters DSP and the new Stylish Scroll EF. Lastly I added a Tangerine Tango bow and a rhinestone.
Some of the ladies put their pumpkins on tilted which looked so cool!!
I should have taken a picture of it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Say It Simply (retired)
Ink: Tangerine Tango (retired)
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango (retired), Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Scroll EF, Square Layering Framelits, Tangerine Tango Ribbon, Rhinestone, Mini Dimensionals, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Cute and not at all scary!
