Love You...To The Moon & Back

 Good Monday Morning, Friends!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
It was quite cold here, even had a dose of sleet/freezing rain last evening! Today we are suppose to get into the low 50's and it will surely feel like springtime!

Today I am sharing a set of cards that I made Audrey for her Valentine's Day set.
She requested a half moon & a heart on the front with the saying " Love you to the moon & back". I thought for sure I had a saying with that on but no where in my collection of stamps could I find one. I eventually asked a friend if she had any and she had a die that she sent me to complete the cards. I was SO thankful for her help!! And this was the finished product...

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Lovely (sentiment-retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Basic Black, Bee Mine DSP
Accessories: 2" Circle Punch, Give it a Whirl Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Unknown Branded Die, Adhesive Sheets, Blending Brushes, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

When I first got started on this set I was a little bit stressed but once I received the die in the mail for the sentiment it all came together nicely and I had the best time making them!
This was all she ordered for Valentine's Day this year along with 2 cards for the great granddaughters. I'm assuming that this set is going to her family as she did not say but she loved them!

Today I am headed back to my stamp table to work on some card kits for a get together with the girls. I keep wanting to get a day scheduled but then they keep calling for bad weather and I know the girls will not travel in icy, snowy roads. One day winter will be over, right?
I'm still dealing with my head cold which seems to be good one day and then the next feel yukky. Ryan now is suffering with this cold as he slept most of the day yesterday. Dayquil/Nyquil always hits him pretty hard. Let's hope today is a better day for him!

Love & Happiness Card

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Our rainy day yesterday turned into a blustery Saturday morning here. It also feels much colder, too! The joys of winter, right?
This is the 1st day of February so we are getting one day closer to spring!
I've got a sweet Valentine's Day card to share with you that I made with a few scraps of DSP and a very fun retired hybrid embossing folder & dies!

Card Details:

Stamps: Love & Happiness (retired)
Ink: Lovely Lipstick (retired)
Cardstock: Lovely Lipstick, Basic White, All My Love DSP (retired)
Accessories: Bouquet of Love Dies & Hybrid EF (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one will be going on the card rack for sale as I already have a Valentine's Day card made for Shawn. I'm trying to put cards on there with other people in mind.

The paper I used was just a few scraps from the DSP pack. I trimmed off the rough edges and used them as is. I have no idea what the measurements are for them.

Birthday Gift Card Holder

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

It's to be a total washout here today with some good rain to help wash away the salt and what's left of the snow. This dreary weather is about how I feel today and will make the best of it with napping in between loads of laundry.

I've got a birthday gift card holder to share with you today that I thought would make a great addition to my card rack. I never have birthday gift cards, just Christmas ones. I pulled out a bunch of retired stuff and got to work...

Card Details:

Stamps: Picture Perfect Birthday (retired)
Ink: Berry Burst
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, Basic White, Picture Perfect Party DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, 1 3/4 Circle Punch, Berry Burst/Silver Trim Ribbon (retired), Festive Pearls (Silver-retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

There will be more of these types to come once I feel better and get back to my stamp table.

Just Wanted to Say...

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I'm under the weather today and feeling not the best. Shawn was down & out with a head cold over the weekend and I guess now it's my turn. I usually do get it atleast once over the winter months. I'm going to do my best today to just relax and sip on lots of water & broth to help ease the sore throat.
So, I am sharing a set of Valentine's Day cards that I made last week. I'm trying hard to use up what's in my stash and I pulled out the retired Country Bouquet Suite from a few years ago. It was one of my favorites!

Card Details:

Stamps: Country Bouquet (retired)
Ink: Sweet Sorbet (retired)
Cardstock: Sweet Sorbet (retired), Basic White, Country Floral DSP (retired)
Accessories: Country Bouquet Punch (retired), Square Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were originally going to go to Audrey but then she requested something all together different for Valentine's Day. I will share those cards soon! And as for this pack of cards....they were placed on my card rack for sale.

I do not have much of this DSP left which is a good thing and as I said, it was one of my favorites over the years! I made lots of cards using this suite with more to come. I have been trying to find ways of using up the scraps which can be fun, too!
Can you believe Valentine's Day is right around the corner?!

Spring Birthday Challenge

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

If you read my post yesterday I talked about the challenge I did last weekend with 2 of my friends online. We were bored last Sunday and decided to get crafty and post a few challenges. I suggested making a spring time birthday card. The ladies made some fabulous cards, too!
Here is my card which also worked well for a pack of cards for Audrey's card order that I am working on. I used a new bundle from the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog called Wildflower Celebration!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wildflower Celebration
Ink: Blueberry Bushel
Cardstock: Pool Party, Basic White, Wildflower Birthday DSP
Accessories: Wildflower Celebration Dies, Eyelet 3D EF, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This Designer Series Paper is such a fun pack! The papers have gold foil in the prints and then there are 2 pages of punchouts to use for cards or even if your a scrapbooker to create beautiful scrapbook pages. This suite has it all!

Hey Friend Card

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

We made it to the weekend, finally!
It has been a bitterly cold, downright frigid week here in the northeast & for most parts of the US with the southern states seeing a measuring snow for the first time in years! I'd definitely say our weather has been crazy! I'm hoping for warmer temps as we head into this weekend so the ice & snow starts to melt and we can maybe get out for a walk.

Last Sunday was a big football day here and unfortunately our Baltimore Ravens did not make it to the next round of playoff games. I'm sad about that but they did have an amazing season and hopefully next year they get another shot of going to the Super Bowl. Anyways, that day I was on Facebook chatting thru Messenger with some friends and we were saying how bored we were. I threw out a challenge to them to make a spring time birthday card. Then once that challenge was done the other friend said let's do another one! This time she chose to challenge us to make a card with an animal on. I did participate in the spring time birthday challenge and will share that card tomorrow but first I wanted to share my animal challenge card!
I pulled out the SaleABRation set called Friendly Seagulls and made my card.

Oh my, that was so much fun and just what us 3 ladies needed on a COLD, snowy afternoon!
We said that we will do that again when time allows and I can't wait!

I really loved how this card turned out and even more happy that I got this set. I did not think I'd love it but I do! I remember growing up and going to the beach twice every summer for family vacations. Our happy place was Ocean City, Maryland and if you've ever been there you know they have the coolest boardwalk and the nicest beaches. And also the seagulls were an everyday sight whether it be on the beach or the boardwalk....they were everywhere. And yes, they love french fries! That is one memory that always comes to mind when I think of our summer days at the beach!

Card Details:

Stamps: Friendly Seagulls (SAB 25)
Ink: Memento Black, BoHo Blue, Smoky Slate, Stampin Blends-Smoky Slate, BoHo Blue, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: BoHo Blue, Smoky Slate, Basic White, Take to the Sky DSP
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, BoHo Blue In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Please stop back tomorrow and I will share my spring time birthday card challenge! I actually used that challenge to my advantage and used it for a pack of cards for Audrey!

Fabulous Frames Birthday

Good Morning & Happy Thursday, Friends!

Another cold morning here in the northeast but warmer temps are on the way!
We are in for a heatwave today (30 degrees) if you can believe it! LOL Yesterday we did not get out of the teens. I hate to see what our heat bill is gonna be next month.
I've got a quick card to share with you today then a busy day ahead so let's get to it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Woven Heirlooms (retired)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Pool Party, Old Olive, Bird Ballad DSP (retired)
Accessories: Fabulous Frames Dies (retired), Pool Party Ribbon (retired), Gold Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one was so simple to put together as I left the paper and that gorgeous frame die do all the work! I have been working hard on pulling out the retired stuff and creating cards. I have a bin full of cards made in all different occasions so far. I also have been picking at Audrey's next card order that I hope to get delivered to her over the weekend depending on her schedule.

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

It sure is burrrrrrrrrr! My phone says it is 1 degree at 4 am! A bit cold for my liking, that's for sure. Shawn just showed me a photo from Fairbanks, Alaska where it is -62. Yikes, not sure I could even imagine.
Today I have a quick fun fold card to show you that I whipped up the other day for the card rack. It uses a retired paper called Best Dressed DSP. This will go on my card rack under the teenager section...

Card Details:

Stamps: Imaginisce (not sure if this company is even still around?), Picture Perfect Birthday (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Purple Posy (retired), Basic White, Best Dressed DSP (retired)

Kelsey was over one day last week and saw this card laying on my stamp table. She commented on how much she liked it! Of course, she loves purses & shopping! LOL

Celebrate With Tags

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

The last few days have gotten away from me and I apologize for not getting anything posted.
Yesterday I got caught up in watching the Presidential Inauguration and that lasted pretty much all day. I think I have been watching them ever since Bill Clinton went into office. With President Trump back in office I pray things change in our country for the better.
So today I got started on working on cards for Audrey and just completely forgot to post. It's downright cold here which I think is getting the best of me. LOL Can't think past the cold!
Here I am at 5 pm making a post while waiting on Shawn to get home. He got stuck in traffic in York. I made a crock pot full of ham & green beans for supper. It surely filled my belly.

The cards I am sharing today are part of Audrey's upcoming order. She requested 3 cards for the pastors at her church so this is what I made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Celebrate With Tags (retired), Framed Florets (retired)
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Azure Afternoon, Basic White
Accessories: Celebrations Tags Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Blueberry Bushel In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I came across this stamp set in a basket that has a variety of stamps in. I called it my "Mix of Holidays" stamps. I have everything organized by holidays so I know where to find something. This set is full of different things for different occasions. It even has Valentines Day so I may pull this set out soon and play with those stamps!

Audrey wanted to make this a complete set of 5 cards so I went ahead and made 2 more cards with different colors...

Card Details:

Stamps: Celebrate With Tags, (retired), Framed Florets (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Pretty In Pink, Basic White
Accessories: Celebrations Tags Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Pretty In Pink In Color Shimmer Gems, Mini Dimensionals, Tombiw Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I really hope Audrey likes these! I love how they turned out and of course, the colors!
