Gallery Blooms & An Update

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Happy Hump Day to you!
This morning we have a bit of sunshine so that's a good thing! We had rain overnight and everything this morning is pretty soaked. More rain/storms are expected this evening, again. Warmer temps are on the way today and the humidity is to jump up. It will start feeling like summer even though the first day of summer arrives on Friday.
Today I have a card to share with you from the new Gallery Blooms bundle from the 2025-2025 Stampin Up Annual Catalog. This was one of the 1st purchases I made when the catalog went live. I love the flower images in it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Gallery Blooms, Beautiful Motifs
Ink: Memento Black, Strawberry Slush, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight & Strawberry Slush
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Basic White
Accessories: Exposed Brick 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Gallery Blooms Dies, Strawberry Slush Gems, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal

I'm not usually a big flower person but the flowers in the bundle are so pretty that I could not resist! I got both the Gallery Blooms & the Beautiful Motifs bundles but not the paper. It hasn't grown on me yet but maybe down the road I will grab it. For now I am happy with the stamp sets! Just beautiful and there will be more cards to come!

UPDATE:

I told you yesterday that I had my 4 month check up on Monday evening. I got bloodwork results back yesterday. I am shocked and elated that everything was within range and all is normal for the 1st time in my life! It's just so hard to believe! My doctor said "everything looked beautiful"! I am so proud of the work I put into myself and getting the results that I had never dreamed would come to light. I'm SO thankful for my doctor's guidance and this medication for changing my health and my life!

Hot Dog, It's Your Birthday!

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Another dreary day is on tap as well as the humidity is on the rise. It's very foggy looking out the window this morning with not much change happening today.

Last evening I had my 4 month check up for my diabetes. All went great! I have lost well over 100 pounds (103.3 pds to be exact) in 16 month, have gone off my blood pressure medicine and cut back on my thyroid medication. I did start a low dose cholesterol medication back in February since I am diabetic and heart disease is a huge factor in diabetics. I feel really good and walk everyday if not twice a day! I have learned so much in the last 16 months on getting healthy and have conquered one big goal...which was to get 100 pounds off. I had blood work done last evening to check my sugars, cholesterol, thyroid and kidney function. Afterwards I treated myself to Thai food! It was so worth the wait! 😋

Today I have a cute birthday card to share with you!
I have been pulling out lots of the older, retired stuff and making cards with it then putting these cards in a bin for when my card rack gets emptied. I used the set called Hot Dog which has the cutest doggies in! I paired this set with some Rock & Roll paper which is also retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hot Dog (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Versamark, Stampin Blends- Smoky Slate & Starry Sky (retired In Color)
Cardstock: Starry Sky (retired), Basic White, Rock & Roll DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Starry Sky In Color Twine (retired), White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Perfect card for that dog loving person!

I am headed down to play at my stamp table a bit this afternoon. I need to get working on a few July 4th cards because that occasion will be here before we know it. I also have a card order to start for Audrey eventually. She really keeps me busy!

Thanks Snow Much

Good Morning & Happy Monday, Friends!

Yes, it's yet another rainy, dreary morning in Pennsylvania!
I feel alittle unmotivated this morning with all this gloominess.
It's been dreary here since Saturday, almost to the point of depressing. Yesterday we took a walk and I had to wear a sweater. Totally unheard of for June 15th! I think today will be another sweater kind of day as I have to go out in this later today for a doctor appointment. I hope by then the rain/drizzle stops.

Anyways, I did get some stamping in over the weekend. I went thru some of my slots on the card rack and realized I only had 2 Christmas Thank You cards there. I thought while I have the time I better get more made. I went thru my image box and found a bunch of these stamped off snowmen and just ran with it! This snowman is from a retired stamp set called Thanks Snow Much that I borrowed from my friend, Deb, years & years ago. It's time to use these images up!

I always enjoy coloring these snowman and turning them into cards!

Card Details:

Stamps: Thanks Snow Much (retired), Snowman Magic (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Mossy Meadow, Stampin Blends-Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Whisper White & Basic White, Iconic Celebrations DSP (retired Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Snowman Magic Dies (retired), Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Stampin Seal

I know it's quite early to be thinking about the holidays but I was reminded to get started on holiday cards early as Christmas in July is just right around the corner! Usually the whole month of July I do Christmas stuff but i'm not sure if I can get that accomplished this year although I am gonna try!

Atleast now there is one more Christmas Thank You card added to my card slot. Hoping I can get maybe 2 more made.

Yep, i'm SO over this depressing weather and that little emoji dude is exactly how I am feeling!

Fright Night Awaits

Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!!

The weekend is here although they are saying more rainy weather all weekend but not a total washout. I am hoping to do some stamping but we'll see.

Before I get into today's post I wanted to share that I recently celebrated my 5th year anniversary with Stampin Up!. This is my 3rd go around as being a demonstrator with Stampin Up! and the longest I've ever stayed in it. I love Stampin Up! as I have quite the collection of rubber stamps from 2001 on. Lots of wood mounted, red rubber & photopolymer stamps....I love them all!
I use to say that I was my biggest customer but I can't say that anymore as I have some pretty terrific customers who order each & every month. I would not be where I am today without their friendship & support...so a huge Thank You to each of them!

Ok, now on to some fun stuff!!

I recently received my stamp order from the Online Exclusives preorder. They had a variety of holidays available this early in the year and of course, Halloween always excites me! I played with the 1st bundle called Fright Night.

Card Details:

Stamps: Fright Night (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Petunia Pop, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Pie, Spooky Sweet DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Fright Night Dies (Online Exclusives), Black Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Shimmer Foam Star Stickers (Online Exclusives), Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Dimensionals, Stampin Seal

I am really happy that Stampin Up! gave us some pretty Halloween papers this year! YAY! The colors and prints and adorable! They also gave us Iridescent Cello Bags for treats, too! They will be so fun to decorate for Halloween sweets & treats this upcoming season! I'm so excited to play more with all the cool things they gave us so stay tuned for that as it gets closer to the Fall season!

Pets & More HB

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a sweet little birthday card to share that is for the cat lover in your life.
I was going thru my card rack recently and noticed that my "cat & dog birthday" slot was empty. I decided to grab my Pets & More stamp set and got busy on refilling that slot. This card uses the cat stamp and I paired it with some A Little Latte paper. It turned out so cute!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pets & More (retired Online Exclusives), Turtle & Friends (retired sentiment)
Ink: Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral, Basic White, A Little Latte DSP (retired Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Dotted Circles 3D EF, Corrugated Elements (retired), Calypso Coral Shimmer Gems (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Pets & More stamp set is no longer available but it was on the Online Exclusives list last year. It is a reversable stamp which means you can stamp one side in a light solid color then flip it over for a more detailed image that gets stamped overtop of the solid image. So fun and what a neat idea! Plus I love that this set is photopolymer so you can see where your stamping with it! Win win!

This card is now on my card rack for sale.

Congrats Grad

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

The week is buzzing right along! Today is looking to be a very nice day with warm temps and low humidity. I am hoping to take advantage of this beautiful day with a good walk this evening! So today I am sharing a graduation card that I made recently for a friend. I pulled out all retired Stampin Up! products because that is all I own when it comes to this occasion. The school colors were black & gold.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sketch An Event (retired graduation cap), Great Grad (retired words on front), Northwoods Rubber Stamps (inside sentiment)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Crushed Curry, Versamark
Cardstock: Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Basic White
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies (retired), Basic Black & Crushed Curry Twine (retired), Black Sparkle Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This turned out perfect for the occasion!
I don't make very many graduation cards because of the school colors and year they graduate. I usually wait until someone orders a card before I pull out my drawer of graduation stamps so nothing goes to waste.
I enjoy making this one! Thanks, Shannon!!

Masculine Birthday Set

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I have a quick set of cards to share that I made for Audrey's card order using the Spotlight on Nature set and a few other goodies, too! She requested a set of masculine birthday cards with no specific theme. I know she doesn't ask for fishing or hunting cards so I usually go with leaves, feathers or some masculine style paper. Today I pulled out the Country Woods DSP and paired it with the Spotlight on Nature (leaf) set. Sometimes I have no rhyme or rhythm when creating a card so I just went on about my way trying to keep these masculine.

Card Details:

Stamps: Spotlight on Nature, Pattern of Friendship (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Gray Granite, Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Country Woods DSP
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Misty Moonlight In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Misty Moonlight/White Twine (retired), Dimensionals, Stampin Seal

I know Audrey sends lots of cards out each week especially to her church family so this is why these are a bit plain. If you know me you know I always like to add ribbon and lots of bling but I know she doesn't care for all that. I leave the insides blank as she writes her own messages inside each & every card she mails out. What a feat for a 94 year old woman battling cancer but I do believe this gives her great joy! She is such an inspiration to us all!

Seasonal Sprays Sympathy

Good Morning & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you all had a great weekend!
Yesterday turned out to be rainy & dreary out so I spent most of the day at my stamp table playing with some Christmas cards! Yep, I know, way to early to be thinking of Christmas but I went to my stamp table thinking...what am I gonna make today?! I seen a Christmas card that inspired me so that was the route I took! LOL

So, I'm not sharing a Christmas card today but I am sharing a Sympathy card that I was inspired by from a very old (2000-2001) Stampin Up Annual Catalog. I pulled out the lovely (retired) Seasonal Sprays wood mounted stamp set and got busy!

Card Details:

Stamps: Seasonal Sprays (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired), Weathered Background Stamp (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Bordering Blue (retired)
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Bordering Blue (retired), Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Countryside Corners Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Something Fancy Dies (retired), Gold Trim, Pressed Flowers Gold Dots, Glue Dots, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I love casing a card and changing things up to make it my own. I get so easily inspired by the catalog samples so always make sure to use your catalogs as a source of inspiration! I was also thrilled that I still have a good bit of Bordering Blue cardstock left & a very inky ink pad! It was a great day of stamping!

This card has been added to my bin of cards that I am working on. It's not often I have time for card making for myself but when I do I try to get cards made that I know are good sellers. I also like to take a variety of different cards and place them in a cello bag with envelopes and gift them to people. Audrey loves when I do that for her as a little Thank You.

Anyways, I am back to my stamp table today for some inky fun!
I really need to get working on July 4th cards since that will be here before we know it!

Hello, Let's Catch Up?!

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Friends!

I hope your having a great weekend!
Yesterday we picked up some supplies at L&L Stamps in Ephrata then hit up the local pizza place for a slice of pizza for lunch. I think that is the first that I had an actual piece of pizza in months! Oh, and let me tell you....it was so good and hit the spot! I picked up a few old retired Stampin Up stamp sets at L&L yesterday. I just adore the older stamps and have SO many in my collection...I said yesterday that I need an intervention! I got those stamps home and cleaned them up and labeled them. I am anxious to use them!

So today I have a fun card to share made with the retired Latte Love bundle that was on the Online Exclusives list last year. Another favorite with some pretty papers! On this card I paired my stamps with some Timeless Plaid paper.

Card Details:

Stamps: Latte Love (retired)
Ink: Boho Blue (retired), Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Boho Blue (retired), Basic White, Timeless Plaid DSP
Accessories: Latte Love Dies (retired), Everyday Arches Dies (Online Exclusives), Adhesive Backed Swirl Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I may send this one to my girls to invite them over for a Stamp Day w/ Friends get together soon! It's been quite a while and I do miss seeing & making cards with them!

Scenic Route Happy Birthday

Good Morning & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today we are doing a road trip over to L&L Stamps to grab a few supplies and then hit the post office. I also hope to do some crafting this afternoon to finish up a project I was working on yesterday but time will tell.

I have a birthday card to share that I made recently that I was going to include in Audrey's card order for one of her grandsons but I felt it was a bit too girly. For now I will keep it on the card rack and see what kind of thoughts I get on it...

I started with some Scenic Route patterned paper that has been in my stash for many years! I do love the colors and prints and I think it could be used for a man or woman card. It is from the Metropolis Line.

Card Details:

Stamps: All Zipped Up (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Tempting Turquoise (retired)
Cardstock: Tempting Turquoise (retired), Basic White, Scenic Route-Metropolis Carter Drive & Paradise Lane
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Pumpkin Pie Enamel Star (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So what is your thought on this card?
Could it be for a man, woman or child?

I love the colors as they are so fresh & bright!
I have 2 whole sheets of these patterns left that I've been hoarding for years! LOL
I think I may need an intervention!

Happy Retirement, George

 Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!
Today I want to share with you a card I made for Shawn to give to his co-worker whom retired last week. I used a retired set called Reflected In Nature. It has the perfect little cabin in the woods which reflects off the water, couldn't get more perfect for this gentlemen who lives in the woods!

Card Details:

Stamps: Reflected In Nature (retired), DRS Designs (Sentiments inside & out)
Ink: Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Basic White, Glorious Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Birch Wood 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Linen Thread, Earth Tones Shimmer Gems (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Work had a nice send off party for him and gifted him with a nice new grill!
Happy Grilling, George! Enjoy your retirement!

Today I am on my way to my stamp table to play! 🎉🎉🎉
All my orders are finished and I've got some new goodies waiting on me!
WooHoo!

Post It Note Holders

Good Morning & Happy Thursday, Friends!

I can't believe that it's Thursday already! This week has been flying by!
Yesterday we hit the mid 80's and the ac had to get turned on for the the 1st time this season. I was fine with it being warmer but poor Bailee was panting away. We sat outback after supper and she just loves laying on the cool concrete porch watching to make sure no animals cross into her yard. She would stay there all day is she could and then chases the bunnies & squirrels away! Crazy little dog!

Anyways, today I promised I would share the Post It Note Holders that a friend had ordered. I love that she gave me idea's as to what she wanted on each one. Sometimes that challenges me but these were pretty easy! Also these were for some of the people at her her son's school.

This 1st one she requested was purple tulips...I pulled out some retired Flowering Fields DSP and used Highland Heather & Fresh Freesia Cardstocks with some White Ribbon & Purple Shimmer Gems.

The 2nd one was green & flowers...I used Lemon Lime Twist & Melon Mambo cardstocks with some Lemon Lime Twist ribbon along with the Simply Zinnia Designer Series Paper. (I think this is my favorite!) I also added some Shiny Adhesive Backed Sequins for a pop of sparkle!

The 3rd one was for a cat lover...I had to dig deep to find some cat paper in my stash but knew I had some! I found the Max & Whiskers paper from Basic Grey to cut out the cute kitty! The other paper is from American Crafts. This paper had the Summer Splash color in it so that is the cardstock I used on this along with some Summer Splash Shimmer Gems and White Ribbon. This one was so fun!

And the 4th one was for a young lady and she asked for pink...This one stumped me so I went in search of some cool summertime paper and found this pretty colorful flip flop paper by American Crafts called Shoreline. I used Melon Mambo & Daffodil Delight cardstocks with Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon and a few retired Melon Mambo Gems for some sparkle. Just perfect for summer!

I packaged up each Post It Note in a 4x6 Cello Bag and added the "Thanks for a great year" sentiment that I printed off the computer because I did not have any stamps with that saying on and placed them on each bag topper. I stapled the bags closed so the little pens would not fall out & get lost. Also, I have no idea where the pens came from as they have been in my stash for many years! The sentiment "You're the Best" came from the Happiest Day stamp set.

Thanks Shannon for your order! I absolutely loved making these for you!
They certainly make for a great little gift for the end of the year teachers/helpers!

Well, today I have 3 cards to finish up for Audrey then I can get her order delivered next week. She has her cancer treatment today and I know she does not like visitors for a few days afterwards so we planned on early next week for delivery! I always love my visits with her and look forward to seeing her! 💕
