Happy Birthday Card Set

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week!

I have been getting some crafting time in this week since my hubby went back to work.
Yesterday I was rooting thru a bunch of old papers that are not Stampin Up.
I found this 12 X 12 pad of K&Company paper called Berry Sweet and it's filled with lots of bright summery colors & images. I always say, I need to use this stuff up and today I used a whole sheet of it to make this set of cards....

Take a look!

When I first spotted this sheet of paper I thought it had cherries on but come to find out it is apples & cherries. Had it been all cherries....I would have had the perfect sentiment for these cards!
I also have to say that I matched this paper with a sheet of Lemon Lime Twist which is a new In Color for Stampin Up! It's very bright!

Happy Birthday Card Set:

Stamps: Sassy Salutations (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White, K&Company Berry Sweet
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Corner Rounder Punch, Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so much fun to whip up and happy to use up another sheet of patterned paper!
Only 2 million sheets to go! LOL

World's Greatest Dad

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
It surely got hot & humid here in PA yesterday! Time to crank on the AC before I croak! LOL

It's been rough getting back in to a normal routine with hubby going back to work today.
I found my way back to my stamp room this afternoon and I wanted to get a Father's Day card made to send to my Dad...

It's been 2 years since I have seen or heard from him. I always remember him on Father's Day and his birthday by sending him a card and I hope that he is getting them but hard to say. Sometimes I am reluctant to send one because I never hear anything back and maybe he just doesn't care to thank me or acknowledge my cards but all in all he is still my Dad and I love him dearly!

Here is the card that will go out in the mail tomorrow with a personal note inside.

World's Greatest Dad Card:

Stamps: Guy Greetings
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Delightful Dijon, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, Urban District Specialty DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Silver Brads & Paper Clip, Black Taffeta Ribbon, Black Baker's Twine, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

No matter what....I still want to wish him a nice day because he deserves that.
It breaks my heart that I do not see or hear from him and I hope he knows how much he's thought about every single day!

Love & miss you, Dad!!!

Notecards & Envelopes

Hello & Happy Friday!

Sorry to be MIA the last few days!
It's been crazy around the Aungst Pad this week.
My hubby has been home all week and we've been working on little jobs around the house.
Yesterday it was such a nice day, we decided to get the bikes loaded up and head out to the trail for a ride! It was awesome other than the snake we saw crossing the trail!! I totally dislike them!!!!!
Anyways, today is another busy day....the car goes to Toyota this morning for an oil change then this afternoon Gigi has a Vet appointment for her rabies shot. I would really like to get a bike ride in again today before the heat & humidity makes an appearance the next few days but we'll see how that goes!

I have not done any stamping this past week and I hope next week things get back to normal once hubby heads back to work.

Today I have one last thing to share that I made for my customer's last order.
I used the Notecards & Envelopes from Stampin Up to create some Thank You cards.

Isn't that paper SO pretty??
I am not a fan of Wisteria Wonder since it has an odd hue of purple in it but I love it here with this certain sheet of paper!

Notecards & Envelopes:

Stamps: Thoughtful Banners
Ink: Wisteria Wonder
Cardstock: Whisper White Notecards & Envelopes, Wisteria Wonder, Delightful Daisy DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Scallop Oval Punch (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The package of Delightful Daisy DSP has so many pretty prints in it!
I am one who very rarely uses up an entire pack of paper but this certain one I can see using it up before too much longer!

My thoughts today....

I'm looking forward to the weekend just not looking forward to the heat & humidity arriving. I guess it will be time to crank on the AC and hibernate inside! Oh, and get inky!!

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Gift Bag Tag

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
We had such amazing weather here!
I wish it could have lasted forever but unfortunately the clouds & rain are back today!

Today I have a project to share that I made up for my customer as a Thank You for her card order.
I found this yellow gift bag in my stash and thought that it would go perfectly with the new Daisy Delight stamp set & matching punch.

I know the pictures aren't the best. I already gave the bag to my customer so I could not take anymore pictures.

I love this new stamp set and best thing of all, it comes with a matching punch! I sometimes prefer the punches over the framelits because of how quick & easy it is to punch something out. I also love that the stamp set is photopolymer and you can see they it for perfect placement!

Gift Bag Tag:

Stamps: Daisy Delight, One Big Meaning
Ink: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Whisper White, Crushed Curry
Accessories: Two Tags Bigz Die, Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Amuse Crinkle Ribbon (on bag), Whisper White Baker's Twine, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Last of the Tissue Box Holders

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Up early on this cloudy morning as some rain showers are moving thru.
The sun is to make it's return before lunch so hopefully it will turn out to be a beautiful day!

My girls are off to doggie day spa this morning and Ryan & I are headed to get bloodwork done before we can actually eat breakfast. Then the guys are getting haircuts before we pick the girls up from grooming. A busy day ahead! I hope to find some time later on to play at my stamp table, too, but we will see.

So, here is the last of my Tissue Box Holders that I made last week.
They are so fun and make a cute little gift to give to someone who is under the weather or has a bit of the sniffles from allergies.

These use the new Delightful Daisy DSP from the new SU Catalog!
That paper is so pretty!

Tissue Box Holders:

Stamps: Crosses of Hope
Ink: Night of Navy, Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Wisteria Wonder, Calypso Coral, Whisper White, Delightful Daisy DSP
Accessories: Flourishing Phrases Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Crushed Curry, Wisteria Wonder & Calypso Coral Chevron Ribbon (retired), White Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Angie Juda created this box and has a tutorial on her blog, here.

Badges & Banners

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yesterday the weather was absolutely FABULOUS!
Definitely my kind of weather....sunny & 70's with a nice breeze!
I think I had every window in the house open!

Today I have a quick card to share that is made for a police officer.
I know it's not Father's Day related but it is masculine and really all you'd have to do is change out the Happy Birthday sentiment on it.

I just recently got the Badges & Banners stamp set with coordinating punch and was dying to put it to good use!

Enjoy Your Day Card:

Stamps: Badges & Banners, Designer Tee (SAB 17)
Ink: Dapper Denim
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Basic Black, Whisper White, Everyday Chic DSP (retired)
Accessories: Best Badge Punch, Classic Label Punch, Modern Label Punch, Lucky Stars EF, Silver Brads, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I tried using the colors of what some police cars & uniforms look like.
I hope my customer likes this since her grandson is a police officer.

Happy June 1st!!!

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday we had some fabulous weather once the clouds & fog broke!
It hit 80 degrees here and the sunshine was awesome!
My hubby got home from work on time for a change and mowed then we sat out on the front porch with the girls and just enjoyed the nice weather!
Hopefully today will be another picture perfect day!

Since today is June 1st, I am going to try to focus on the upcoming Father's Day occasion.
Today I am sharing a card made with a now retired stamp set called Nailed It.
I have had this bundle in my collection for awhile now and yesterday I finally broke it out and got it inked up! I was pleasantly surprised with how nice it stamps!

Here is my 1st Father's Day card for 2017.

I used the herringbone technique to create this card. My friend, Carol, makes the nicest herringbone technique cards and i'm always envious of them! I gave this technique another shot today with making my strips of dsp at 1/2" each. I am loving this now retired dsp called Urban District Specialty Paper! I like the colors in it plus the prints are more focused on masculine. My silver foil paper at the bottom of the card is diecut with the measuring strip in the Build It Framelits! It adds so much to the card. I also took the wrench, hammer, screwdriver and other little pieces of hardware and randomly stamped them with Delightful Dijon on the cardbase. So pleased with it!

Happy Father's Day card:

Stamps: Nailed It
Ink: Delightful Dijon
Cardstock: Delightful Dijon, Basic Gray, Very Vanilla, Urban District Specialty Paper, Silver Foil
Accessories: Build It Framelits, Silver Brads, Dimensionals, Mono Adhesive

A really fun card don't ya think??

That is all for today!
A very busy day ahead and hopefully I will have more details on that later!

My thoughts today....

Can't believe we are already at the last day of May!
Time is just passing by so quickly!
Hopefully today we get some sunshine!
Our local weather said that we've only had 11 "full" days of sunshine so far this year!
No wonder I feel sunshine deprived!!!

Thanks for stopping by & have a really great day!

Falling For You Card Set

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Well, we survived the holiday weekend!
Of course, there was nothing much happening here since my hubby worked! I was bored out of my mind to be quite honest and just did not have the mojo to go stamp anything!
Here in Pennsylvania it has rained darn near everyday with pops of sunshine here & there just enough to tease you then came the showers again.
They are saying it will be another week or so of this showery stuff  and today we're under the gun for some strong storms to come thru later on but in the meantime...yep, you guessed it, more showers!!

Today I have one last set of cards to share that I made for my customers last order.
She loved the butterfly paper from the Falling for You dsp  and asked if I could add a doily and a simple Thinking of You sentiment.
I can do that!!!

I apologize for the colors being wonky in these pictures. Like I said, it's been gloomy here and it doesn't help that my stamp room is in the basement. I used Soft Sky, Tip Top Taupe & Very Vanilla on these.

Thinking of You Card Set:

Stamps: Handwritten Hello's (retired)
Ink: Tip Top Taupe
Cardstock: Soft Sky, Tip Top Taupe, Very Vanilla, Falling for You DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Lacy Doily, Soft Sky 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are super pretty in real life! Just love those colors and the lacy doily!

Happy Memorial Day!

Hello & Happy Monday!

It's the start of the summer season here but also a day to remember those who have fought for our freedom and the ones who gave their lives for this country.

Please take a moment out of your day to remember...

Happy Memorial Day, my friends!

Ah-chooooo Tissue Box

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday I spent some time at my stamp table since my hubby is working this entire holiday weekend..not by his choice. I spent quite a few hours down in my stamp room crafting away then I moved on to doing some cleaning of the family/craft room. My sweeper then started to give me a fit so that ended quickly! My hubby got home in time for supper but then got a call to go right back to work. This is the 2nd time this week he had to turn around and go back because something was not working. I really hate to complain but this job is going to be the death of him!

Anyways.....

Last Friday I watched a video of Angie Juda (ChicNScratch) where she made this box and I had to give it a try!
The link can be found here on her blog.
Thank you Angie for sharing this neat project! Always an inspiration!

The soft tissue packs are made by Kleenex and sold at the Dollar Tree. They come in variety of different colors. I love the different saying that are on each pack!

Tissue Box:

Stamps: Under the Weather (retired)
Ink: Pacific Point
Cardstock: Pacifif Point, Whisper White, Balloom Adventures DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, 1;' Circle Punch, Flourishing Phrases Framelits, Pacific Point Satin Ribbon, White Pearls, Dimensinals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So much fun to make!
I will share the rest that I made later this week.
