Frosted Gingerbread

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I hope your week is going well!
It sure is a hot one with no end in sight, unfortunately!
Today's Christmas in July card is one that I made for fun with the Frosted Gingerbread Suite.
I love the prints in the retired Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP.
Traditional red & greens!

Card Details:

Stamps: Frosted Gingerbread, Wonderful Year (inside, retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Old Olive, Basic White, Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Red Rhinestones, Real Red Sheer Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this one!
I used scraps that were in my pack of DSP and dug thru some stamp sets for the perfect inside saying! Wonderful Year was a great set!

Ringed with Nature

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Shawn got Bailee to the Vet yesterday afternoon.
She has a bacterial infection and that is what is causing the licking, biting and scratching.
They swabbed the pads on her feet and that is how they diagnosed it.
She is on an antibiotic and also has a medicine to help with the itch.
Bailee has a return appointment to be rechecked in 2 weeks.
Let me tell you, she came home a happy dog, ate her supper, took her pills and crashed on the back of the couch the rest of the evening. I knew she was exhausted but did not think she was that tired. She was eating good and going potty but not sleeping well and just seemed a bit off. I'm just so glad he got her checked out! Let's hope now she is on the road to recovery!

My card that I am sharing today uses the Ringed With Nature stamp set from the 2022 July-December Mini Catalog. The Rings of Love DSP is a SaleABration offering this time around. Spend $50 and get the DSP free!

Card Details:

Stamps: Ringed With Nature, Christmas to Remember
Ink: Poppy Parade, Evening Evergreen, Petal Pink
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Evening Evergreen, Petal Pink, Basic White, Rings of Love DSP
Accessories: Scalloped Contour Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Seasonal Layers Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Fine Sparkle Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Rings Of Love DSP is a fabulous pack of paper that has some nice prints & patterns in it. I used it recently to make a card for my card lady which I will share once my Christmas in July series is over.

Snowflake Wishes

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Today I have another card to share for my Christmas in July series using the Frosted Gingerbread bundle from last year. This is such a cute set that I wish had carried over but sadly did not. I have almost a full 6x6 package of the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP left to use up. Surely it won't be this year but I will keep picking at it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Frosted Gingerbread 9retired), Wrapped in Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP (retired)
Accessories: Winter Snow EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Gingerbread Dies, Old Olive Ribbon (retired), Red Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Again that pretty snowflake on the front was diecut using the Gingerbread Dies from the Gingerbread & Peppermint DSP. It really makes creating quick & easy!

Update:
Miss Bailee will be going to the Vet this afternoon to get her itchies checked out!
The Benadryl is helping to take the edge off but not taking it away. I pray the Vet can help her so we can get back to sleeping all night. She is tired and I am drained...

May Your Holidays Bloom

 Hello & Happy Sunday, Everyone!

I hope your having a good weekend!

I'm sorry for the late update today.
Poor Bailee has had the itchies the last week or so and then she was groomed yesterday.
Her groomer suggested some Benadryl until we can get her a Vet appointment. It seemed to help her some but I only gave her 1 dose yesterday afternoon and then she was awake scratching, itching and chewing half the night. I feel so bad for her as I know what it's like to have itchy skin with my Psoriasis. The groomer bathed her in oatmeal shampoo in hopes that it would help her some. I sure hope Shawn can get her in to be seen ASAP on Monday. She only ever had an itchy episode a few years ago and I rubbed her skin with organic coconut oil which helped her and took the itchies away. I tried it again last Tuesday but it did not help.

I have a pretty poinsettia card to share today that I made with the retired Poinsettia Petals stamp set. I loved this set and will continue to use it even if it was retired!

Card Details:

Stamps: Poinsettia Petals
Ink: Poppy Parade, Just Jade (retired)
Cardstock: Just Jade (retired), Poppy Parade, Basic White, Flowers for Every Season DSP (retired), Iridescent Paper (retired), Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Poinsettia Dies, Stitched So Sweetly Dies (retired), Festive Pearls, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Have you started working on your Christmas cards yet?
I know summertime can be a busy time with family, vacations and yardwork but now is the perfect time to get them started especially since it's too hot to be outside! I find that making my holiday cards over the summertime makes it easy and lessens the stress of the holidays.  I will be so happy that my cards will be ready to address and mail out after Thanksgiving! That is a first for me!

Season's Greetings

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

It's day #14 in my quest of sharing a Christmas card for my Christmas in July series.
I am using a set from last year that carried over to this year called Penguin Place.
This is a fun, whimsical set that I have used quite a bit . I love that this set can be used all year long as there are a few different sayings in it. I saw the cutest card the other day on Pinterest using this set and they made it into a birthday card!

Card Details:

Stamps: Penguin Place
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired), Pacific Point, Pumpkin Pie, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Basic White, Storybook Gnomes DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Wintry 3D EF, White Glittered Ribbon, Fine Sparkle Gems, Glue Dots, Dimensonals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Now my little penguin dude looks like he's all ready for the holidays!
I'm so happy to be doing this early this year!
It will be one less thing I will have to stress over once the holidays arrive!

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a card to share with you for my Christmas in July series.
This is another favorite because it uses 2 of my favorite stamp sets, Christmas Season and Christmas to Remember!

Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Real Red, Painted Christmas DSP

Poinsettia Sparkle

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is off to a good start!

Today I have a quick card to share as part of my Christmas in July series.
This one uses lots of new products such as the Boughs of Holly DSP and the Very Best Occasions stamp set!

Card Details:

Stamps: Very Best Occasions, Merriest Moments (inside)
Ink: Real Red, Shaded Spruce, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Basic White, Boughs of Holly DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold/Vanilla Ribbon, Festive Pearls, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love this one except I wish I would have used a different color ribbon.
The vanilla throws me off since everything on the card is white.
I guess I can always change out my bow!

Also I wanted to give you a quick update on my card lady!
She called yesterday and sounded in good spirits!
Surgery went very well, she was able to come home on Friday but was pretty sick from the anesthesia up until yesterday. Right now food isn't appealing but she is getting somethings in her. Surgeon suggested walking as much as she can tolerate so blood clots don't form and also resting and pushing fluids. She has a return appointment this week. She said she will be in touch soon. I was relieved to here from her as she has been on my mind all weekend.
Please continue to keep Audrey in your thoughts & prayers in the days ahead if you wouldn't mind. Thank you!
