Merry Monday Challenge Week #37

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Saturday, I spent the day with all my stamp girls at the Heirloom Stamp Show and then we went and had lunch at Chili's. I didn't spend much there due to the fact that some of my favorite stamp companies were not there this year. It was kind of a disappointment to me and seemed much smaller.
Sunday, I spent the day with the kids, my parents and my grandpuppies! We played Pokeno, watched football and of course....ate! Was a good time but I have been dealing with some back issues again. Last year while we were still out in Joplin I picked up my son Ryan who has Cerebral Palsy and something just went pop. It wasn't till 2 weeks later that we made the move back to PA that I couldn't handle the pain any longer and went to an Urgent Care. I was diagnosed with a lumbar sprain (back spasms) and put on some pretty hefty pain & anti-inflammatory meds for a week. After a few days I felt better so i'm hoping that this bout with the spasms won't last long either. I have pain & anti-inflammatory meds so i'm just gonna take it easy today and rest as much as I can to get better!

So, since it's Monday that means Lesley from over at Always Playing With Paper has another sketch for us this week to help us get those Christmas cards made! I soo love this challenge because I now have a huge supply of cards ready to go for Christmas! No stress this year! :)

Here is her sketch and my sample....

I was so excited to use this new set called Winter Memories for this sketch. It goes perfectly with this Festival of Prints DSP.

Lovely Christmas card Wendy! This stamped image works so well with Lesley's sketch this week and the colours you've used are gorgeous, especially the glimmer paper. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Beautiful, simple card, Wendy....rest up and I hope you're feeling better. When your back hurts, it messes up EVERYTHING!

Lovely Christmas card Wendy, what wonderful scenic stamp. The warm colours make me think hot chocolate after playing in the snow :).
