Hello & Happy Monday!
What a yukky morning it is here in south central PA. We are experiencing an ice storm which we hope will turn over to rain later today! For now it's causing some travel delays but I guess this is what we have to live with during the winter months. I will be so happy once spring arrives and the grass turns green and the flowers come up!
In the meantime, the girls over at Merry Monday have another wonderful challenge for us this week! This card challenge is to help us build our Christmas card stash all year long so once the holidays arrive we aren't under the stress of making cards, they are already made!
This week our hostess is Katie and she gave us a fantastic challenge! Hope you will stop by the blog to see the gang's cards for inspiration!
Here we go!
Who would have thought you would not have any critters in your stash! Well, that would be this girl!! This hedgehog is the only critter in my million & one stamps! Lots of penguins, bears and birds but no critters! I asked my hubby to define a critter for me! LOL Then I looked thru some card idea's on my computer and realized I have this cute hedgehog in a Stampin Up Best of Snow set! I was so happy! Sometimes these challenges really do turn into CHALLENGES! LOL
I made my card into a Z Fold type of card and did it in monochromatic colors! I'm not too good with coloring critters! LOL That might be why I don't have any!
I hope you love my little hedgehog critter and will play along with us this week!

Ooooh...*dislike* on the ice/rain, Wendy! LOVE this cute card ... and I just realized while reading your blog post that I might have screwed up on this challenge LOL...I never even THOUGHT about it, just colored a bear. He's not "really" a critter...you are right! OOPS! Super cute card - love the hedgies! Hope you don't get too much lousy weather - stay warm!
This is such a cute image, Wendy. Love those hedgies and the monochromatic color scheme really packs a punch.
So cute, I love your little hedgehogs and this fabulous layout.
Love your monochromatic card Wendy and the fold you used. Hope the weather improves, we are having a 41 degrees celsius day today and it's hot, hot, hot!
Very cute! Those hedgies are adorable. Love your color scheme too! Have a great week and keep warm.
Wendy these critters are too adorable! I love them, and the fancy fold is great!
oh this card is beautiful! :)
I love these little hedgehogs -- so cute! Terrific color, too!
I consider a critter an animal of any kind LOL, maybe I am wrong. Regardless, you nailed this challenge - totally adorable!!!
Deanne :)
Your critters are adorable, Wendy! I love the Soft Suede and white combo! Just perfect!
Your critters are too cute. They look like they are deep in conversation! I had a hard time finding some for my card also!
Terrific card--love the Z fold & earthy colors!
I really like that you card is monochromatic and adore that brown snowflake. I find that so interesting that you have no critters?!!! Although I think a penguin is crittery but I'm no nature expert. Thanks for the visit earlier. I'm looking forward to the next MM challenge.
