Hello & Happy Thursday!
Yipppeee, it's the start of a new year!
Did you make a New Years resolutions?
I made one in reference to my stamp work and that is to make my cards less bulkier for easier mailing! The Post Office has gotten so picky with cards being bulky and the cost to mail a card that is a bit bulky is ridiculous. So, time to make a change!
I started my New Years resolution earlier in the week when I needed to sit down & create a sympathy card for my brother & sister in law. Her mother passed away Christmas morning. Her services were on Tuesday. I hope my card brings them a bit of peace & comfort.
I have since mailed my card out to them. I'm loving how flat it is!
Sympathy Card:
Stamps: Simply Sketched sentiment
Ink: Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Afternoon Picnic DSP
Accessories: Delicate Doilies Die, Lg Oval & Scallop Oval Punches, Circle Nestibilities, Square Lattice EF, Crushed Curry 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dot, Liquid Multi Mono Glue
Well, that's all for me today!
We have our pork & saurkraut in the oven for tonight's supper!
It's definitely one of my favorite meals!!!!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Happy New Year, friends!

I'm with you on keeping the cards flat. I have found that one PO branch is much pickier than the other. Guess which one I go to now? This is a beautiful card, Wendy! I'm sure it will bring comfort to your brother and sister-in-law. It's especially hard to lose a loved one at Christmas.
