Hello & Happy Thursday!
It's wonderful to wake up this morning and see the sun shining!
We've been having clouds & rain the last few days and honestly it's getting depressing!
The sun is certainly a welcomed sight and I hope it helps to motivate me.
I'm whipping up a Cobb Salad for supper tonight and I would like to get downstairs to make a few cards since my housework is all done.
I have a card to share today that I made last week using the Sweetly Swirled stamp set.
This set is so easy to use and I love that you can basically build your wreath with different flowers and leaves. I've seen so many wonderful idea's used with it and in different color combinations, too!
My colors are Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green & Soft Seafoam.
I used an old Corner Rounder Punch to round the corners on 2 sides and I Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dot to the center of my pretty flower.
The Chicken Wire Background stamp was stamped on my Purple Posy cardbase with Purple Posy ink. Sadly, the Purple Posy ink is not available. Stampin Up had many issues with the manufacturing of it and finally pulled it. Purple Posy is still available in cardstock and the Stampin Blends.
Card Details:
Stamps: Sweetly Swirled, Chicken Wire Background Stamp
Ink: Crumb Cake, Highland Heather, Purple Posy, Granny Apple Green & Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: Purple Posy, Highland Heather, Whisper White
Accessories: Corner Rounder Punch (retired), Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dot, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Thanks for stopping by & take time to enjoy the day!

I love this set...and how fun to see the Chicken Wire peeking out from behind it! It's all fresh and springy!
Beautiful Wendy!! You always rock these kind of stamp sets!! I would have to invest in LOTS of ink pads to do these kinds of stamps justice. Have all the mini inks from many many years ago but never got a lot of the refills so they are getting dried up. Really Love the colors you used. It just screams Spring! Awesome job! Enjoy the sunshine!
I'm loving this card as it's made with my favorite color combo of all - purple and green! The stamped off leaves look great with that little flower and enamel dot, but that ribbon is to die for! SO pretty!
