Beary Cute Christmas Card

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Today is going to be a great day!
The Christmas movies start on the Hallmark Channel at 6am this morning and will run 24/7 until 2024! YAY! If you have been following me for awhile you know I look forward to this every year! Lots of old movies run during the day then at 8pm on Friday's, Saturday's & Sunday's they have new ones! Tonight's movie is called Checkin' it Twice. I'm anxious to see this one as I like Kim Matula and Kevin McGarry!

Today I have a Christmas card to share!
This one is made with a new bundle called Beary Cute.

Card Details:

Stamps: Beary Cute
Ink: Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, A Walk in the Forest DSP
Accessories: Merriest Trees Dies, Beary Cute Punch, Wonderful Snowflakes (retired), White Sheer Ribbon w/ Silver Trim, Glitter Sequins, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card was quick & easy to put together.
The tree was diecut from the A Walk in the Forest DSP and the bear was punched from the same DSP. If only all cards could come together that easy!

Baby's 1st Halloween

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

For some reason I thought today was Friday!
Guess I am super anxious for the Christmas movies to start on the Hallmark Channel!
Even though I have Christmas on my mind I have a Halloween card to share with you today that Audrey requested for her great granddaughter that was born in July. She wanted something cutesy so again the Pick of the Patch worked great for this!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pick of the Patch, Sentiment was computer generated
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival (retired), Cajun Craze, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Cajun Craze, Them Bones DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Pick of the Patch Builder Punch, Cajun Craze Enamel Dots (retired), Black & White Gingham Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card was quick & easy to make as I just used scraps from the DSP and my happy jacks were already stamped and put together. I just love this set and I hope that it carries over next year! I know that usually does not happen but I really like these happy jacks and the nice sentiments that come with it!

Yesterday I played a little bit with some Christmas sets and made a few treats holders. I will stop there since Christmas candy isn't out yet and I usually like my treat holders to match my candy. I also picked up a Halloween puzzle last weekend that I am dying to start!

With Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was a total washout! We had rain all day. Kelsey got called into work early so we had Shady here with us all day, too! I'm sure he was disappointed that he couldn't go out in the yard due to the pouring rain. It was pretty much a lazy day around here. We watched a few Christmas movies on the Hallmark Drama channel that we've never seen which was nice.

So I got another card from last Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together to share with you. This is another one of those older card kits that I had put together awhile ago and I felt it was time to use it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Inspired Events (retired)
Ink: Basic Gray
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White (retired), Baja Breeze (retired), Whisper White (retired), Basic Gray, A Walk in the Park DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Butterfly Thinlits Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Since I had everything already diecut and ready to go, this card took literally 5 minutes to assemble. It always feels good to use up some of the retired papers!

Two Tone Flora HB

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

It's a rainy, dreary day here in PA and I plan to do laundry and clean out the bedroom closet which really needs it! I have put that chore off way too long! Yesterday I went to the stamp show and we were in & out within 45 minutes. Not too much that caught our eye. Alot of my favorite vendors were not there. I was disappointed and walked out empty handed.

Today I have card #2 to share with you from last Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one was a favorite!

Such pretty colors and those flowers are very fun to create!

Card Details:

Stamps: Two Tone Flora, Inspired Thoughts (retired)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Evening Evergreen (retired)
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Basic White, Fancy Flora DSP (retired)
Accessories: Something Fancy Dies, Two Tone Flora Dies, Pretty Flowers EF (retired), Subtle EF (retired), Gold Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Brewed for You Gatefold

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Today I am sharing the 1st card that we made last Saturday at my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together! This card I had ready to go for months and finally got it made! It uses the Brewed for You bundle which could be used for a beer drinker or a wine drinker. Today we are using the beer mugs...

I believe this is the first time I have ever used this set. Guess it goes to show ya that I don't have any beer or wine drinkers in my circle of friends! It is a fun set though!

Card Details:

Stamps: Brewed for You
Ink: Memento Black, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Rustic Harvest DSP (retired-2022)
Accessories: Brewed Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Black Matte Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had most of this card all diecut and the girls just had to do a bit more stamping and glue everything together. I do most of the work ahead of time to keep things easier and less time at the Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine.

Today is the start of the York Stamp Show at the York Fairgrounds.
We are going to go and check it out. I don't think it's the same as it use to be. Before Covid it use to be held the weekend of World Card Making Day but not anymore. I'll give an update tomorrow on it.

Happy Anniversary

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Yesterday our weather turned out to be so nice!
A little cool in the morning but we hit 70 in the afternoon!

Today I have a set of Anniversary cards to share with you that I made for Audrey.
Every now & then she'll request a pack of Anniversary so I went in search of some retired paper to get me started...

Card Details:

Stamps: Northwoods Rubber Stamps (sentiment)
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Sweet Sugarplum (retired), Basic White, Petal Garden DSP (retired-2018)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Garden Trellis EF (retired-2018), Sweet Sugarplum Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I don't ever remember buying this pack of DSP but it does have some lovely prints!
I will try to incorporate more of my retired stash into cards in the future to help use it up and I know Audrey doesn't mind.

I had a chance to deliver her card order earlier this week and wanted to give an update on her. She is done with her radiation treatments but will have to do her IV Therapy every other week for the rest of her life. The radiation wiped out her thyroid and she is now on medication. She was not very happy about this. She is 93 years old and has never been on any medications up to this point. She was very talkative and happy when I seen her but she looked awfully tired. When I left I told her I will keep her in my prayers and hoped that she got some rest in the coming days.

Set of Fall Thank You Cards

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today I have a set of Thank You cards to share that I made for Audrey's recent order.
She requested a pack that was seasonal. I pulled out a pack of paper from 2008 called Summer Picnic DSP. It is the same pack of paper I used on the Fall Treats from this past Monday. I also used the same stamp set, Tart n Tangy.

Card Details:

Stamps: Tart n Tangy (retired-2008), Earthen Textures (saying)
Ink: Real Red, Old Olive
Cardstock: Real Red, Old Olive, Basic White, Summer Picnic DSP (retired-2008)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I found that I have about 3/4 of this pack of DSP left and decided to try to use alot of it up in this one set of cards. I covered the entire front panel with the flowery print and then used the Stitched Rectangles to diecut the other 2 pieces on the front. This is one technique that always helps to use up the paper. Audrey loved that this paper matched the Fall treat I gave her. I told her that I have been working hard on using my retired supplies when I can. It worked well for the set of treats and my Thank You cards!

For A Special Friend

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope that your week is off to a great start!
Yesterday I got Audrey's card order all finished and ready to deliver to her. I straightened up my stamp table and i'm now ready to move on to working on some Thanksgiving cards. I may just take a break today and relax after a busy few weeks and then hit the ground running tomorrow. I am burnt out...

Today I am sharing a special card that I made for a special friend for her recent birthday! She is one of the sweetest people I know and has a heart of gold. Her favorite colors are purple & green and I used those colors in her card. Take a look...

Card Details:

Stamps: Framed Florets (retired)
Ink: Highland Heather, Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Soft Seafoam, Basic White
Accessories: Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Soft Seafoam Ribbon (retired), Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins (retired), Blending Brushes, Glue Dots, Corner Rounder Punch, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I loved this years Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks! The variety of different masks to create different types of cards in minutes! When thinking of sunflowers most people think to do them in a yellow color but I knew my recipient loved purple & green so that is the route I went in making this special card. I loved the outcome of using these 2 lighter colors than a bolder purple & green. I have seen these sunflowers done in blues & pinks as well and all of which were beautiful. I used a retired Corner Rounder Punch on 2 of the corners to give it a different look. So fun!

Fall Apple Treats

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend! The Fall weather has finally made it's way to PA. The leaves are slowly starting to change colors but nothing vibrant yet. Yesterday was football day and Kelsey & Shady came over for the day since she was off. We made a turkey dinner w all the fixings since the weather is much cooler.
Today I am sharing a sweet Fall treat that I made up a few weeks ago. One day I was going thru drawers to see what I had in my stash. I found these Gift Card Enclosures that Stampin Up! carried a few years ago. Here is a picture of them...

I had 8 of them left in my stash and decided to make them into a holder for some yummy treats.

I had just gotten a box of Little Debbie Oatmeal Pies (a favorite), Ghiradelli Chocolate Caramel Apple Pie Squares and Tootsie Roll Caramel Apple Pops and I combined them into my Gift Card Enclosure holders. I wrapped a belly Band around it using retired Summer Picnic DSP then stamped an apple from the retired Tart N Tangy stamp set. Everything I used is retired.

Project Details:

Stamps: Tart n Tangy (retired-2008)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Old Olive, Basic White, Terracotta Tile (retired), Gold Foil Paper, Gift Card Enclosures (retired), Summer Picnic DSP (retired-2008)
Accessories: Gathered Leaves Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired),
Terracotta Tile Ribbon (retired), Gilded Gems (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I already handed a few of these out and gave to the girls on Saturday.
Audrey just gushed over hers. I was hoping she did not request any because I do not have anymore of the holders left.
