Post It Note Acrylic Holder

Hello & Happy Friday!

Hope your all staying cool!
I think most of the country is now under some pretty hot temperatures and it's days like this that I miss my swimming pool that we had at our old house. Anyways, we made our way back from Joplin very early Tuesday morning and fell right into our beds. It took till yesterday to finally feel normal again. I guess you'd call it car-lag! That drive is very grueling but we had such a wonderful time seeing friends and seeing all the improvements that Joplin has done since we left. Still alot that needs to be done but oh my gosh, it is looking amazing! I also got to spend some time with my stamping buddy, Vicki Burdick while there. We antiqued, shopped and hung out at her house a bit. I wish it could have been longer but we only had 2 full days to see everything & everyone before we had to come home. Kelsey had to work, unfortunately. We also took our oldest daughter along with us since she was not able to visit us when we lived there. It was a good time!

Finally, yesterday I made my way back to my stamp table. I had alot of goodies waiting to be used and even still, I have not touched half of it! I wasn't much in a mood for making a card so I looked in my drawer and found a bunch of these 4X6 acrylic picture frames so what's one to do....make a Post It Note Holder! I made several but will just share this one today....

I had to call upon Vicki for some assistance on making the loopy bow. I was having trouble using a thicker, ruffled ribbon instead of using the seam binding ribbon but I conquered it! Woohoo! Thanks Vicki, for your help! :)

Post It Note Holder:

Stamps: Sentiment from More Great Greetings
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Neenah White, Summer Smooches DSP

I'll have more to come in the coming days because I am having fun making these! Besides, what else is there to do when the temps are almost 100 and very humid out?? I'll be stamping! :)

Well, that is all for now!
Thank you for stopping by!
Stay cool & have a great weekend!
~Wendy
