Merry Monday Week #56

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend! It went by so fast for us! Friday, we painted my living room & hallway back to the bedrooms. Ughh, I have always loved painting but anymore it's really hard on my sciatic nerve. I've been trying to do some stretching exercises everyday but that thing of getting up & down off the floor just kills me. Saturday, I worked on laundry, straightened the house up, cleaned out flower beds, pulled out all the outside furniture and took Gigi for a long walk in the beautiful sunshine. It really was a nice couple of days up till Easter Sunday.....then the rainy, dreary weather came. Thankfully, we did not have much to do other than go to my parents to eat dinner. As I type this up i'm relaxing in my nice warm bed with my heating pad on hoping for some relief!

Anyways, since it's Monday that means it's time for another challenge from Lesley from over at Always Playing With Paper. So here we gooooooooo!!!

Lesley has decided to go back to doing all sketches again and when I first seen this one I thought it would be a bit tricky but it actually wasn't!

Hope you are feeling better. I hate painting and need to do every room in the house sometime soon.
Love your card. The pattern papers, the embossing and the stamped image.

I love these colors and the medallion sentiment! Take care of that back. Back pain is no fun. Hope you had a nice sunny day today. We did and after all that rain yesterday, it was a welcome relief! Jack & I stayed outside most of the day.

Pretty card Wendy, I like your choice of colours, the sentiment and how you embossed only half of the white background.

Your card is so pretty, I really like the embossing on the top half of your card...I forget to do that, but I always really like how it finishes off the card! I wanted to thank you for your comment on my card as the "guest designer"! I love this challenge and making Christmas cards all year long!

These colors are so fun for a Christmas card! I loved this sketch because you can use up some DPs for the banners!
I have sciatic problems too...I can sympathize!
