Nothing's Better Than...

Of course, Pumpkin Spice Season! LOL

Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

I'm sorry for the late update today, it was a late night last evening and I never got around to getting my blog updated. Yesterday I mentioned that Shawn had a doctor appointment. It was at 7:30 pm and i'm not sure why he scheduled it that late since we are usually in bed by 8:30. We waited about 20 minutes as his doctor was running a bit behind which I get it. He also sounded like he was getting over a cold as his voice was sounding spent for the day. We had a good visit with him and then had to get some bloodwork before we left. Doctor was pleased that he has lost weight and his blood pressure was really good, too! We got home right around 8:45 and got ready for bed. I don't think neither of us slept well and felt a bit off this morning even though he had a great check up. I'm guessing because we were off our normal schedule.
Today he should get the results of his blood work which I am anxious to hear about. He's made alot of changes in his diet and we walk everyday so that's gotta be a good thing!

Anyways, my card for today is another one of those cool fun folds that I seem to be addicted to making! LOL They are quite easy to make and so fun to decorate!

Here is a picture of my newest addiction...

That is my Pumpkin Spice addiction!
I'm also making a homemade Pumpkin Pie for our Thanksgiving dinner.
My mom use to make the best pumpkin pies, ever! I'm so glad that I have her recipe! 💗

We did get rain yesterday but not much and at this point we'll take whatever we can get!
This morning the sun is just now starting to pop out so it's looking like a nice day ahead.
I'm working on laundry as it's my usual Friday chore and then need to do a quick trip to the grocery store this evening. Can you believe that we are less than 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving?! Time just flies anymore. Next Friday Shawn starts his vacation and i'm looking forward to some downtime & relaxing with him.

My thoughts today...

Thanks for stopping by & have a lovely day!
