Lovely As A Tree

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday turned out to be a fun day with my hubby!
We both had doctor appointments at a new office within 10 minutes of our house (YAY!) and all went well. Afterwards we got home and decided to grab our bikes and go to the Rail Trail for a ride.
Just as we hit the trail it started to rain. The farther we went the harder it rained. We were drowned ducks by the time we got back to the parking lot but let me tell you....we laughed so hard!
It was so much fun and I would do it again! It's the stuff memories are made of, right?
5.5 miles wasn't bad either....I guess that's why we were soaked straight down to our undies! LOL
Shawn goes back to work today and i'm hoping some things at work will change for him.
His evenings & weekends need to be his time not work time.
Then we could get more fun bike rides in!

Today I have a card to share that was a CASE (copy & share everything).
I'm not sure who the original creator was but her card was perfect for a Stamp Day w Friends!

My stamp girls always want masculine cards and this one was perfect!
I changed up my sentiment panel and my layout is a bit different.
Everything is retired so it was good to use this stuff up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Lovely As A Tree (retired), Thoughtful Banners (retired)
Ink: Soft Suede
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Wood Textures DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lovely As A Tree is perfect for creating masculine cards!
With Fall coming I promise we will be using it again!

I'm trying too!
Wait till you see my card for tomorrow!

Happy Halloween Set

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!
This morning I am off to a doctor appointment then I hope to come home afterwards and get some crafting in! I thought about going out for a bike ride but it's gonna be way too hot & humid for that plus we are in for severe storms....Blah! I sure hope we have an early Fall!

Last week we had a taste of Fall with the cooler weather and that put me in a mood to make some Halloween cards. I whipped these up from using what was in my stash.

My stamp is a Studio G that I picked up many years ago at Micheals.
The patterned paper came from Hobby Lobby last year.

Card Details:

Stamps: Studio G
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Highland Heather, The Paper Studio
Accessories: Glittered Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so much fun to create although alot of coloring on the sentiment.
Well worth it though!
These are also very mail friendly!

Good Morning, Magnolia

Hello & Happy Monday!

What a weekend it was!
I seriously think my poor hubby needs a week vacation after what he's gone thru!
Saturday was just a cluster with what he had to deal with from work.
I've never heard him yell at anyone like I did Saturday evening when he was on the phone.
I'm pretty sure he's on the verge of walking!
Sunday came and he said he was going to have a "Me Day".
Turned the phone on mute and ignored all work stuff.
We got out on the bikes and rode 15 miles to Glen Rock and back.
Gosh, it was so good to see him smile and take in the scenery around us!
Once we got home he turned the phone back on and he then had to go back into work where he was until 3 this morning. He told them he will be off today & tomorrow!
Tomorrow we have doctor appointments so that day was already planned!

Today I have a really pretty fun fold to share using the Good Morning Magnolia set.

This fun fold design came from Angie Juda.
The Good Morning Magnolia is a beautiful stamp set with coordinating dies and DSP.
That beautiful Magnolia on the front of my card was diecut from the paper.

Card Details:

Stamps: Good Morning Magnolia
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Magnolia Lane DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Magnolia Memory Dies, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Simple & very easy to make!
And I love the different styles of fun fold cards!

Happy Anniversary

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Our weekend was not off to a good start yesterday as Shawn's phone rang all night long.
He eventually ended up going in and being there a few hours.
We already had our day planned with exchanging our HD cable box at Comcast then getting out for a bike ride. That completely went out the window.
As I have said, his weekends are not his own and this job is taking a toll on him.
And if you know me.....I am worried about him and my psoriasis is starting to flare.
Something at this job ABSOLUTELY has to change or I know him.....he will start looking elsewhere!
He's at work 14-15 hrs a day so our evenings are shot. And of course then we look forward to the weekends to do things and I was less than amused with lack of sleep and not having a fun day to unwind. Maybe today will be the day....time will tell.

So, I am going to share another card from my last Stamp Day w Friends.
This card was another winner in everyone's book!

That pretty white panel is from last years annual catalog and it is called Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper. There are quite a few different designs in this pack that can be cut apart and used on cards or projects. This is the first I cut into that pack and what a surprise it was!
I will most likely use this paper again but a different design because the girls loved it especially with the Petal Promenade DSP.  That paper is retired too but as I keep saying....i'm using this stuff up, piece by piece!

Card Details:

Stamps: unknown Anniversary sentiment
Ink: Grapefruit Grove
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Grapefruit Grove, Petal Promenade DSP (retired), Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty Paper (retired)
Accessories: Layered Leaves EF, Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain Ribbon, Grapefruit Grove Faceted Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Everything is Rosy

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today I am sharing a card that I created a few months ago for a Stamp Day w Friends.
At that time the Everything is Rosy Medley Suite was introduced and I wanted to showcase those beautiful papers & products that came in it!

I love that this paper came with Rose Gold Foil throughout and the medley even came with some Rose Gold Foil sheets to compliment that paper!
Lots of sentiments came in the stamp set and do you see the enamel dot?
I'm not sure what the exact name is but they are Rose Gold, too!

Card Details:

Stamps: Everything is Rosy Medley (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Everything is Rosy DSP (retired), Rose Gold Foil Paper (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Everything is Rosy Enamel Dots, Everything is Rosy Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one was Miss Emily's favorite!
It's funny that every time we get together she tells me her favorite card!
That always makes me happy!

Dear Doily

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yesterday Shawn made it home to be able to watch the 1st preseason Ravens game!
He was having a stressful day so that was a great way for him to end his day although he barely could keep his eyes open past 9:30.
And to top it off our Baltimore Ravens won! WooHoo! 29-0

Our weather is suppose to get really nice today and last throughout the weekend!
I am hoping to go for a bike ride sometime.
Do you have any fun plans this weekend?

Today I am sharing a card that we made at my last Stamp Day w Friends.

I've had this card created for several months and I had summer colors in mind.
We used the retired Dear Doily set for this.
I wasn't able to get the coordinating Framelits for it because they were no longer available.
We used Granny Apple Green & Coastal Cabana on the 2 different doily images on the back panel.
Then we used Granny Apple Green & Coastal Cabana Stampin Write Markers to color the flower and then added 2 Coastal Cabana Glittered Enamel Dots to the main panel.

Card Details:

Stamps: Dear Doily (retired)
Ink: Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Coastal Cabana & Granny Apple Green Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Accessories: Coastal Cabana Glittered Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The girls loved this one because they loved the colors!
Me too!

Thinking of You

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It's still hot & humid here with a chance of storms later.
Yesterday we had some storms go thru and we got some nice rain for the garden!
Tonight is the Baltimore Ravens 1st preseason game!
I'm excited and just hope Shawn can get home in time to watch!

Today I am sharing a set of cards that is part of the recent card order for my customer.
She likes her Thinking of You cards....

Again I am trying to use what I have in my stash.
The sentiment comes from the Good Morning Magnolia set which by the way is a wonderful set filled with nice sentiments!
My paper is from SaleABration 2019, Botanical Butterfly DSP.
I thought this particular sheet would be perfect since the butterflies are out in full force this summer.

Card Details:

Stamps: Good Morning Magnolia
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Grapefruit Grove, Basic Black, Whisper White, Botanical Butterly (retired SAB 19)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Grapefruit Grove Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

All Ye Faithful

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!
Yesterday was my housework day and I kinda left the blog sit unloved for the day.
I was beat by the time I finished up and headed to bed early last night.
Our weather was nice yesterday so I gave the AC a break and had the windows open.
The heat & humidity are back today so of course the AC is back on too!
I think this girl is ready for Fall....

Today I have a set of Christmas cards to share that will go to my customer once the holidays come.
She is a religious person and I know how much she loved the cards I made her last year with the 3 Wise Men on.

This stamp set is from the Stampin Up 2015 Holiday Mini Catalog.
It's never seen ink...until just recently!

I combined my stamp set with the retired Boughs & Berries Embossing Folder.
It has never been used either!

Card Details:

Stamps: All Ye Faithful (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Versamark
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Year of Cheer Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Banner Punch (retired), Boughs & Berries EF (retired), Heat Gun, Gold EP, Real Red 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lots of gold on these but that's what makes these perfect for Christmas!
So what do you think?
