Christmas Gleaming

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!
I feel SO much better today after a good night's sleep!

I have a quick card to share today made with the Christmas Gleaming stamp set.
It's quickly becoming a favorite!

I love the design of this!
I took a sheet of 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 piece of this DSP and covered my entire cardbase which is something I never do. My images were stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock that was cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits then I colored with the Stampin Blends.
The sentiment was stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and diecut with the Circle Layering Framelits and I laid that onto a piece of Pretty Peacock cardstock that was diecut with a Circle Layering scallop. I popped that up with Dimensionals right between the 2 holly leaves.
Lastly, I added 2 Pretty Peacock Rhinestones for some sparkle and called this one, done!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Gleaming
Ink: Memento Black, Pretty Peacock, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Very Vanilla, Brightly Gleaming DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Pretty Peacock Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope you love this one as much as I do!

Forever Friends Baby Boy Card

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

It was a nice weekend for a change!
My hubby had no calls from work and our Baltimore Ravens won their 1st home game against the Arizona Cardinals!
I did not get to my stamp table at all this past weekend like I hoped. Maybe later today...

We are up very, very early this morning since hubby has an early meeting at work.
I am gonna finish up some house work and do some laundry as long as I can keep my eyes open!

I have a cute baby card to share today using a Forever Friends stamp.
This one was in my customer's last order.

Isn't that image so cute?

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Friends, unknown sentiment
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Balmy Blue, Whisper White, Balmy Blue DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Marina Mist Enamel Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As soon as I wrap up my Halloween projects I need to focus on getting some baby cards made for my card rack. They sell as quick as I make them!

Halloween Pumpkins

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all enjoying the weekend!
It was a busy day yesterday for us as the car had an appointment for an oil change then a quick trip to Sam's Club and AC Moore.
Glad that's all done so today we can watch football!
It's the Baltimore Ravens first home game so we're excited to watch!

This past week I have been at my table as much as I could be.
I have Halloween treats just about finished. Waiting on ribbon to finish the last of it.
I will soon start sharing them!
I worked on more Halloween cards, too!
I have a pack to share that I whipped up the other day using up some cute pumpkin paper that was in my stash. It came from AC Moore.

Isn't that paper adorable?
I paired it up with Tangelo Twist which was an In Color several years ago.
I still have alot of it in my stash!
My sentiment comes from the Stampin Up Spooktacular Bash stamp set and I used the Ornate Frames Dies to cut it out.
I left the paper do all the work!

Card Details:

Stamps: Spooktacular Bash
Ink: Tangelo Twist
Cardstock: Tangelo Twist, Whisper White, Love Nicole from AC Moore
Accessories: Ornate Frames Dies, Granny Apple Green Glittered Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Are you getting those Halloween cards made?
I know some people do not send them.
I love Halloween and sinceI make my own cards....I always send them!

It's a million dollar achiever set designed by Karen Duke.
It's so cute!
I thought it would work well for Christmas treats but first I had to make a card with it!

This card is like a postcard style with a small card attached to the front.
I'm not sure of the name but I have made this style before.
I used retired DSP from last year, All is Bright.
I stamped my images in Memento Black ink and colored with Stampin Blends.

Do you see the Copper Foil leaf coming out from under the holly? That is from the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements. The pack comes with lots of different shapes that adds a wow factor to your projects!

Sunflower Thank You Cards

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today summer is to come back in full force.....90's and high humidity!
We've been really spoiled the last few weeks with cool weather.
I keep saying that Fall is coming early this year!

Yesterday I was at my stamp table most of the day.
I feel like I got something accomplished!
I needed a couple Thank You cards.
I pulled out a pack of the retired Painted Autumn DSP and just started playing.

What better way to celebrate September than to use some pretty sunflower paper!
I have been seeing sunflowers every where we go lately! They are SO beautiful!
I only have a few scraps of this certain print left so I diecut them out and made the most of them!
I love every single one of them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pocketful of Happiness (sentiment)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Painted Autumn DSP (retired)

It's Halloween!

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well!

Sorry I have been absent from the blog...
I assure you that i've been busy in my stamp room the last day or so working on Halloween projects for my next Stamp Day w Friends!
I invited all my stamp girls over on World Cardmaking Day to have some spooky fun!
I have less than a month to get things wrapped up!

Today I have a neat little card to share that I whipped up for Happy Boo Day!
I've been going thru scraps of Halloween papers and throwing some away that is smaller than one could ever use up. In that folder I found a few scraps of the Basic Grey Eeerie Paper from 2009.
It's 10 years old already! Time to use it up!

I was hoping I had more of the bat paper left but it's pieces that are about 3x3 or less.
The circle piece was just a bit bigger than I needed so I took a 2 inch circle punch and made it smaller to fit the other circle pieces that were in my stash.

The stamps are new Stampin Up sets called The Raven and Wonderfully Wicked.

Card Details:

Stamps: The Raven, Wonderfully Wicked
Ink: Basic Black (retired)
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, Basic Grey- Eeerrie (retired)
Accessories: Chalk Talk Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Circle Punches, Perfect Plum 3/8 Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I know it's hard to see but my Pumpkin Pie cardbase has bats stamped all over.
Just a few are peeking out....

Amen on that one!

Perfectly Plaid

Hello & Happy Saturday!

What a week it has been!

Yesterday I was awaiting my Stampin Up Holiday Mini Catalog order to arrive.
It came before lunchtime but took me a bit to get all the stamp labels mounted and things organized.
Shawn came home early since he went in early and we ran out quick to grab something for supper then called it a night! I think we were in our pj's by 6pm!

I popped downstairs to my stamp table and played around with the Perfectly Plaid Suite from that catalog. It's absolutely beautiful, especially that DSP!

Here is my first card made with it....

Everything in this suite is beautiful from the stamp set right down to that gorgeous Shaded Spruce Ribbon! I added a retired Gold Metallic Enamel Star to the top of my tree.
The DSP paper pack is loaded with different plaid prints with Gold Foil throughout it.
So stinkin pretty and y'all know how much I love plaid paper!
My tree was stamped in Shaded Spruce and the sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.

Card Details:

Stamps: Perfectly Plaid
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP
Accessories: Shaded Spruce/Gold Ribbon, Gold Metallic Enamel Star, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

You will be seeing more of this suite in the coming weeks for cards and candy treats!
I've got so many idea's rolling around in my head that I had to sit and make note of it so I didn't forget. I find I have to write notes for things anymore or I will completely forget...

My thoughts today...

I just could not wait to share this thought with you!
I love this time of year and get so excited for it!
I'm like a kid in a candy store! Haha!

That is all for now!
I have a busy day coming up and I hope to be able to squeeze in some stamping time!
Stay tuned for more fun holiday things!!!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day & weekend!

Rustic Retreat HB

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

Late post today as I was able to sleep in this morning!
That doesn't happen too often anymore.
Tuesday when I was at the doctors I got a tetanus shot since my last one was 2009.
Yesterday I woke up with a sore arm from it. The nurse did tell me this would happen.

So, today I am doing some laundry and just taking a breather.
I am aching from top to bottom....maybe from over doing it the last few days or maybe from the cooler weather we have. It feels like Fall today!

I have the last card from Saturday's Stamp Day w Friends to share.
I only had 4 cards to make which is less than usual. I thought I had 2 more kits ready!

This card uses the Rustic Retreat set from the Stampin Up Annual Catalog on page 49.
It's a Million Dollar achiever set by Mary Polcin.

This is a great set for masculine images but it also has some that could be used for Christmas along with several sentiments which includes the Happy Birthday and a Christmas one!

Card Details:

Stamps: Rustic Retreat
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Mint Macaron, Whisper White, Kaisercraft DSP (Mountain Air Collection- Outdoors)
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Silver Metallic Enamel Dot, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card took all but 10 minutes to stamp and put together!
The girls love the masculine style cards!

Labels to Love

Good Morning, Everyone!
Happy Wednesday!

I'm up early this morning to get my housework done and to get my Stampin Up order in!
Today is the first day to order from the Holiday Mini Catalog and I will tell you that it is a really good one!  I have been saving up for today and ordered a bunch of new goodies! It also helps that my birthday was yesterday and I got cash for gifts!

Before my day gets busy I wanted to share another set of Christmas cards I made over the summer.
This set uses all retired products.

Labels to Love is a set that was out a few years ago and had the coordinating Everyday Label Punch which I used a bunch! It has stamps for a bunch of different holidays.
My card also uses the retired Quilted EF. This is one of my favorite embossing folders as I love the design of it!
This also uses last years paper called Farmhouse Christmas DSP. I used the daylights out of this pack last year and i'm down to scraps now.

Card Details:

Stamps: Labels to Love (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Thick Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Farmhouse Christmas DSP
Accessories: Quilted EF, Everyday Label Punch, Triple Banner Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Gold Trimmed Ribbon, Gold Metallic Pearls, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think this set is one of my favorites with that embossing folder and pretty papers!
And I really like this design!
Hope you like them too!
