Hello & Happy Friday!!
It was such a beautiful day today!
After storms blew thru last night, the weather turned fabulous today! Much cooler temps & lower humidity.....just what I needed! It was so nice having the windows open today and the breeze blowing thru! My kind of weather!
So, since my hubby started a new job a few weeks ago, he won't always be working full days on Fridays which will be nice! Today he came home shortly after lunch time and sat in his chair and napped the day away! I snuck off to my stamp room to play a bit. I seen the Free4All Challenge over at SCS was to use a large image or a background stamp! Of course I wanted to play along!!
I seen quite a few people over at SCS were using the Swallowtail butterfly stamp and of course, I used mine too! I have had this stamp for quite awhile and it's never been inked and today was the day!
Free4All Challenge 281 Card:
I inked my butterfly up with Strawberry Slush and stamped off once on scrap paper then stamped my image on my Whisper White cardstock with the lighter more muted color. I love the look of this and can promise you I will be using this stamp more! My sentiment is stamped with Memento Black Ink. I added 4 little rhinestones under the sentiment and added some Strawberry Slush Twine to finish it up!
What do you think??
I really do like it! It will also be pretty mail friendly too!
Free4All Challenge 281 Card:
