This week seems to be flying by!
I have been staying busy in my craft room this week working on a card order which was delivered yesterday! Yippee Skippppee!
This card was part of the order in which I was asked to make a 50th wedding anniversary for a couple who are a huge part of the Holy Trinity Church in Columbia, PA. that makes the fasnachts to sell to the community every year. Fasnacht is a Pennsylvania Dutch thing and probably one of the best type of donuts around. Atleast I think so!
My customer asked for something with donuts on and this is what I came up with.
Luckily, I remembered that the Cherry On Top DSP Pad had a sheet with colorful donuts on that I have never used till today. I like the colors of this, definitely bright!

Accessories: Bigz Alphabet Typeset Dies (numbers), Circle & Scallop Circle Nestibilities, Crushed Curry 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Dimensionals, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
This one was fun to put together and went pretty quick!
I hope my customer liked it...

What a stroke of genius to have made an anniversary card with donuts for this special couple! That's amazing and the card turned out so festive and fun! I love that added touch of sparkle with the numbers! As for the fasnachts, it's just a shame they only make them once a year because I agree - they are the best donuts in the world! I'm cracking up over that sluggish dog photo today - it's exactly how I feel before I've had my coffee too! ROFL!!
That dog at the bottom of the post is me this morning. Bravo on the donut designer paper you created with. Lucky them to reach their 50th. Not everyone can say that. The inside sentiment should be "Just keep rolling!" Jim and I will be 40 yrs this Oct. and that makes us pretty lucky also. Love the card... glad you got the order completed... hope you have a sunny, fun day!
This is perfect for that special couple! I WISH I could say that I've had a fasnacht, but unfortunately, I never have!! I love how you incorporated that paper into their card, it's just wonderful!
What a fun card!! I'm sure they will Love it! We sure have a lot of PA Dutch treats! Thinking Whoppie Pies and Shoefly Pie along with the Fasnacht!
