Holiday Tablets

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We sure did!

I know I haven't posted in a week or so. Lesley gave us a break last Monday from our Merry Monday obligations because of Christmas being a few days away. I'm so glad she did because I had plenty around the house to do to prepare for my Christmas Day with my family!
Merry Monday will be back on January 6th!

Yesterday, we took down all the decorations & trees and packed them away for another year. At this point I am holiday hoopla'd out but I still have alot more Christmas goodies to share! Today i'm sharing some tablets I made. Kirsten sold every single one!

I realized right before they went out the door that I did not photograph them so I just took pics of them already packaged up in the cello bags. Sorry about the glare on them.

I used a different variety of papers & stamps on these so if you need to know something please let me know!

Well, that is all for me today!
I have more notebooks to share and hope to do so later today or tomorrow!
Hope you can stop back!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
It's pouring down raining here today. I'm going to head down to my stamp room and to do some cleaning up! I have 2 boxes filled with images that I need to go thru and get rid of. I've had them for years!

Happy Holidays!

A Total Case of a Beautiful Card

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

A quiet day around the Aungst Pad so I took the liberty to mix up a couple batches of cookies to make another day! I did however sit yesterday and did a total case of a card I had in favorites for a long time. I have no idea who to give credit too. There was no watermark on it. If anyone knows please let me know and i'll give credit for this.

Here we go!

I've never made a Flower Pot Card before and yesterday I was in the mood for a challenge! LOL These are quite easy to make but a bit challenging when it comes to placing your flowers on the tag. The original card had 3 poinsettia blooms on but there was no way I could fit 3 on my tag. Nonetheless, i'm very pleased with the turnout!

Poinsettia Flower Pot Card:

Stamps: Snow Swirled
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Brush Gold Metallic, Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Spellbinder's Layered Poinsettia's, MS Border Punch, Gold Beads, Gold Sheer Ribbon, Gold Cord, Gold Jingle Bells, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Liquid Multi Mono Glue

Well, that is all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
Happy Holidays!

Merry Monday Challenge Week #88

Hello & Happy Monday!

Time for another fun challenge from Lesley over at Always Playing With Paper.
Here we go!

I pulled out my cute little Bundle Up, Mike stamp from Whipper Snapper for this one. I don't think I even inked Mike up this year and that's a shame because he makes for a cute Christmas card! I just addressed him and sent him to my oldest daughter for Christmas!

Merry Monday Week #88 Card:

Stamps: Bundle Up, Mike from Whipper Snapper, Sentiment from Elzybells
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Neenah White, My Mind's Eye 5 X 5 Paper Pad
Accessories: Oval Nestibilities, Pretty in Pink Grosgrain, Pink Rhinestones, Glue Pen, Glitter, Liquid Mono Multi Glue

Well, that's all for today!
With Christmas being a little over a week away, it's time to get started on baking cookies and preparing for Christmas Day! For the next several days you'll find me in the kitchen up to my ears in cookies while listening to Christmas music! Love this time of year!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Sweet Treat Holders

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Happy Holidays to you!

Today i'm sharing a few more sweet treat holders I made. I borrowed my friend's Scalloped Envelope Die that I believe is retired now. I cut these out with cardstock and glued together. Then added a strip of DSP and a cute little saying and the best part.....a sweet Ghiradelli Peppermint Bark Chocolate Square! Mmmm!! These candies are to die for!!!
I did a bunch up for my stamp girls too but I forgot to take a picture of them before I gave them away.

If you have any questions please shoot me an email.

I'm working today on a pot of veggie soup for supper and a batch of chocolate chip cookies for the holidays! It's been a pretty snowy week here in PA with 3 snowstorms within one week's time! I shoveled the one day so the pups could go potty and my back has been bothering me since. I really don't have time for this right now but it is what it is! Atleast all my Christmas cards & my Secret Santa package have all been sent out and the Christmas ham has been purchased!
Tis the Season!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Hope you will stop back tomorrow for another great Merry Monday Challenge!

Happy Holidays!

My Candy Purse of 2013

Hello & Happy Friday!

We're getting down to the wire on Christmas. Only a week & a half to go and it's soon going to get busy around the Aungst Pad since we are hosting Christmas Day this year. I have so many idea's of things i'd like to do to make for a great day but somehow I don't think it's going to happen. I have shopping to get done and my Christmas menu to plan and then send out the invites, shop for the food and then clean up the house! I'm tired thinking about it but i'm up for the challenge as long as my back stays in tact and my family helps me out some! That there might be asking too much! HAHA!

Last evening we meet Kirsten at a local place for our weekly "Wing Night". She returned all my baskets and a big envelope filled with money from all the goodies she sold from my Christmas goodies. WOW, i'm was so floored at her determination on selling everything and she said she rather enjoyed being my little elf! Hehe! 10 years ago she was a very rebellious teenager that ran my family & myself into very troubled waters and to look at her now! I'm not going to jinx myself but i'll just say WOW at the turn around that has happened over the last few years! Anyways, she informed me last night that she turned a few people down on taking orders for me on anything because she is studying hard for a job promotion and needs to pay close attention to all the new things that she will be learning. Hey, i'm so fine with that and wish her all the best in going after what she went to school for!

So, I wanted to share another Christmas goodie today! I made these for the craft show that was cancelled because these too are a good seller. Kirsten sold every single one and usually I make more but this year I did not when I found out the show was cancelled.
So here are my Candy Purses for 2013.

I used papers from last year and a retired stamp set for these.
Hope you like!

Candy Purses 2013:

Stamps: Snow Much Fun
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Be of Good Cheer DSP
Accessories: Top Note Die, Gumball Green Ribbon, Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, Hot Glue, Liquid Multi Mono Glue

Well, that's all I have to share today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Last of the Candy Bar Wrappers of 2013

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope everyone is staying warm! It's bitterly cold here in PA this morning! We had another 7 inches of snow yesterday morning and the roads were even worse than the day before. In total we had about 13 inches of snow in 2 days. I love it but most do not. Once the snow cleared out yesterday the temps took a nose dive. All I can say today is to bundle up!

Last night I made a trip to my parents house to drop off the last of my Christmas stuff. My Dad had an order for a few things for some friends and I took the rest of my notebooks & such along for Kirsten. She's been my little sales girl in trying to sell my craft show things. I told them at this point I am no longer taking orders for anything. I'm crafted out!
In all honesty, I need to start getting focused on getting my shopping done and working on my menu for Christmas day. It will all be here before ya know it!
Today, I am working on getting the rest of my Christmas cards addressed and hope to get them mailed out by week's end.

So, here are a few more Candy Bar Wrappers that I did for the last order of 2013. It's been a busy one and this year i've made more Candy Bar Wrappers & Hand Sanitizers than any other year!

I won't list all the stamp supplies I used on these but if you need to know please don't hesitate to shoot me an email.

Well, the house is quiet.....Shawn & Kelsey are out the door to work so I think i'm going to take my cute little puppies and head back to bed for a bit. It's a good morning to snuggle with them! My stack of Christmas cards await me later!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Happy Holidays!

Merry Monday Challenge Week #87

Hello & Happy Monday!

It's a snowy, rainy, icy mix here in PA! Feels more & more like Christmas around here!
Yesterday Shawn decided to make a batch of Snickerdoodles and they just put us in the mood for the holidays! I still have alot of shopping to do and will probably get most of it finished up next weekend. I love this time of year!!

So, Lesley from over at Always Playing With Paper has another fun challenge for us this week! We are getting down to the wire on getting those Christmas cards made so I hope you can join in & play along with us this week!

Here we go!

I had so many idea's going thru my head for this challenge but decided on a gift card since Christmas is so close now! I always need gift cards! I also like the non traditional colors! Almost reminds me of a beachy/Jamaican Christmas! HAHA!

Merry Monday Week #87 Card:

Stamps: Amuse, DRS Designs
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, White Glitter Paper (Micheal's), Cosmo Cricket DSP
Accessories: Envelop Punch Board, Amuse Mitten Die, MS Snowflake Punch, Rhinestone, Word Window & Modern Label Punch, Dimensionals, Liquid Multi Mono

Well, that is all for me today!
Not sure what's on my agenda today. I might craft a bit and I might try my hand at some chocolate chip cookies....we'll see!
Hope you can stop by Lesley's blog to see what the other Merry Maker's have created this week! Your going to love their idea's!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!!

HO HO HO

Hello & Happy Sunday!

What a day it's been!

Woke up to snow falling & then watching our Baltimore Ravens winning against the Vikings! I'm lovin' it!!

Spent some time in my stamp room working with a new tool that I had for a few weeks but haven't had the time to get it out of the box! I hate when that happens so I was determined to play with it today! All the craze here lately is the File Folder cards and now I see why everyone is making them. Very fun & quite easy to make! And of course, I had to try my hand at it!

I will be making more cards with the new Envelope Punch Board! I think it would be cool used to make a gift card or even a pocket card. Hummm, i'm going to have to try that!

Santa File Folder Card:

Stamps: Oh Goodie, Color Me Christmas
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers, Real Red & Garden Green SU Markers
Cardstock: Garden Green, Real Red, Whisper White, Recollections Christmas Paper
Accessories: Envelope Punch Board, Circle Nestibilities, Real Red Stitched Ribbon, Glue Pen, Glitter, Dimensionals, Liquid Multi Mono

Well, that's all I have for today!
After supper i'm heading down to the stamp table to finish up my order for 25 candy bar wrappers. Unfortunately, we had to cancel Ryan's birthday get together because of the weather. Our roads are a nightmare and accidents everywhere. Suits me fine...you'll find me stampin my heart out!
Don't ya just love snowy days??!!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Happy Holidays!

Happy "Hand Sanitizer" Day!

Hello & Happy Saturday!

So glad the weekend is here! Today I plan on doing some crafting to finish up the last of my Merry Monday cards for this year. I also have my Secret Santa package & Christmas cards to get addressed so I can send them out Monday. Going to try to get all these tasks accomplished today as tomorrow we are having a family get together for Ryan's birthday that was on Tuesday. Not quite sure the get together is going to happen with bad weather coming in tomorrow. I bought 2 dozen cupcakes in the Dallas Cowboys colors (Ryan's football team) with footballs on top, a variety of cheeses & bolonga's to cut up and lots of other goodies. I hope it doesn't go to waste.

Anyways, before my day gets away from me I wanted to share more things I have been working on. I have probably made about 75 to 100 of these hand sanitizers this year because these have been a huge hit with the ladies that Kirsten works with. I also like to keep them on hand to give as a little gift or stocking stuffer. So fun to make & decorate too!

I used a different variety of Stampin Up products as well as other items. I'm not going to list them so if there is something you need to know please don't hesitate to shoot me an email.

Well, that is all for today!
Gotta go get my day started since my coffee has finally kicked in!

PS. Thank you to the ladies that sent me emails yesterday asking about the Candy Bar Wrappers! I so appreciate your kind words and the smile it put on my face! The Candy Bar Wrappers are so fun to make and make for a cute stocking stuffer!! I'd love to see yours if you'd like to share??!!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays!

Hello & Happy Friday!!!

TGIF, friends!

So glad the weekend is upon us!
Today is to be a washout kind of day here in PA with heavy rain and the temps dropping. I'm hoping soon we can manage to get some snow!

Anyways, here are a few more treats I made up for the holiday season.

I started these Candy Bar Wrappers over the summer and then recently added the Hershey Bars. I think so far I made well over 60 of them plus I have another order for 25 more.

I'm not going to list all the supplies I used to make these so if you need to know something please don't hesitate to send me an email.

Well, that's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
