Color Challenge 320

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your all having a great day so far!
Yesterday, I took a break from stamping/blogging. It was a very stormy & rainy day here with heavy rains even tornado's south of us. My heart goes out to the people of Arkansas who are dealing with such devestation from those same storms we dealt with. We are in for more storms & rain tonight something we really do NOT need! Many roads flooded & closed around Missouri. Thankfully, all is well here at my place but not everyone has been that lucky.

Since the sun is shining, the first in quite a few days....I decided I needed to get to my stamp room to work on the Color Challenge plus i've been working on a few cards for a card order and in between doing some Christmas stuff. It helps to make my days go faster! :)

Today is Color Challenge day over at SCS and the colors are:
Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze and Certainly Celery.
I used another stamp set off my shelf called Always In My Thoughts. It is set #64.

Color Challenge 320 Card:

Stamps: Always In My Thoughts (set #64), Fine Lace Background
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers, Certainly Celery
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Baja Breeze, Bashful Blue, PTI White
Accessories: Rectangle & Rectangle Scallop Nestibilities, SU Eyelet Border Punch, Certainly Celery Grosgrain, Glue Dot, Scor Tape

I did not add alot of layers or bulk to this. I'm trying to change that because of mailing issues. I hate a flat card but because of the cost i'm gonna try to change that....if I can! LOL

Ok, that's all for me for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

Very pretty Wendy! Your really knocking out those old sets! The weather is gorgeous here today, chance of storms tonight & tomorrow though. I think I would have a hard time in tornado areas cause I HATE storms!!

I'm certainly glad to know you're OK out there in the midst of all that awful weather!
These colors look so soothing on this card, and it's sure to bring comfort to the recipient!
Take care out there!

I really love how you combined these colors! I know what you mean about flat cards...they don't seem finished without a big honking bow or big button or something - lol! Stay safe out there...we're supposed to be getting some wicked thunderstorms...wind is picking up now (just got home from work shortly after 11 PM).
