Hello & Happy Monday!
Hope all the Dad's out there had a wonderful Father's Day yesterday!
My hubby did some yard work in the morning then took it easy the rest of the day.
The weather was sweltering to say the least! 90's plus very high humidity made for outside activities to be very uncomfortable.
Today I have another project to share with you that I made with the Wood Words stamp set.
Love all the images & sentiments in it!
I paired up the Wood Words with the Wood Textures DSP for a rustic feel to my card.
I am going to try to get this in the mail this week to a friend that I have not seen in awhile. Thankfully, I was able to pick up a book of postage stamps over the weekend. I was completely out!
Hello Friend Card:
Stamps: Wood Words
Ink: Real Red, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Real Red, Very Vanilla, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories: Woodgrain EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Real Red Stitched Grosgrain, Vanilla Pearls, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My thoughts today...
Yep, all of the above!
I am off to get some housework done before we get some bad storms that are to come thru this afternoon. I always get a little nervous when they predict them after living in the midwest and the tornado that went thru Joplin Missouri in 2011.
One thing I have learned is to never take Mother Nature for granted!!
Be safe everyone!
Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a great day!

Don't you just love this set?! This looks great with the woodgrain paper and embossing! Very clean yet still rustic! Have a great day--stay cool!♥
I love me a good rooster image and this one fits the bill! I have my eye on that woodgrain paper too and will probably get it when I finally get my order in! Love the clean look of this awesome card, and so will the recipient I'm sure!
I have been saving all the wood grain patterns I can find in Pinterest. What goes better with wood than barn animals. This rooster looks awesome!
Love the rustic feel of your card. This image would look great with the chicken wire embossing folder too. Glad the storms were milder than they thought they would be, sure enjoying the much nicer temps!
