Pansy Petals HB

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing a set of cards that I made for that recent card order.
My card lady requested another pack of cards using those pretty pansies!
I pulled out my Pansy Petals DSP and cut some strips to use for one of my favorite layouts!

I have gone thru 3/4 of this package of DSP and that means I might have to order another one eventually! This paper is so darn pretty!
Each card has a diecut pansy from the DSP on it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Fresh Freesia
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Pansy Dies, Soft Succulent Ribbon, Soft Succulent In Color Jewels, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are my favorites and my card lady loved them!

Bridal Shower

Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Our weather was cool & rainy so not much happened around here.

Today I am sharing with you a card I was asked to make for my card lady.
Her grandson is getting married this summer and she sent me the Bridal Shower invite for me to recreate a card like it.
Take a look...

I folded the information part so I did not share the details.
Here is the card I made for her...

I had several different stamp sets out on my table playing around with them to see which I thought looked like the original card.
I settled on a retired SaleABration stamp set from 2018 called, Amazing You.
The ink color is one from many moons ago....Bordering Blue.

Card Details:

Stamps: Amazing You (SAB 18), Sincere Salutations (retired)
Ink: Bordering Blue
Cardstock: Basic White, Bordering Blue
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), White Crinkle Ribbon, Glue Dot, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The ink and cardstock color was just a tad off but still it turned out just about perfect and my card lady was very happy with it!
She has not received the wedding invite yet but said once she does she will share it with me to try my hand at recreating it as well!
Surprisingly, this did not stress me out as everything came together smoothly!

Teacher Retirement

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends!
I have been so busy with working on an card order that Mother's Day snuck up on me this year! I did not make or send a single card this year but please know I appreciate all the friends that sent cards to me wishing me a lovely Mother's Day!
I am truly blessed by each of them and wishing them a special day as well!

Today is also my dear hubby's birthday!
He is on call for work so we have nothing planned.
I remember last year on his birthday we were painting the downstairs which took us days even with Kelsey's help! I'm so glad that job is done!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for my card lady's recent order. She knows a woman that has been teaching at a local Catholic school that is retiring after 47 years! This is the card I made for her using the retired Harvest Hello's stamp set!
It's truly a great set and one that I have used many times in the last several years!
I won't be parting with this one!

Card Details:

Stamps: Harvest Hello's (retired), Wild About Flowers (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White Craft Pad, Versamark
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic Black, Basic White, Soft Suede, Granny Apple Green, Pattern Party DSP
Accessories: Apple Builder Punch, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, White Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Sponge, Linen Thread, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one was very fun to create as I got a chance to break out the White Embossing Powder & Heat Gun to do a bit of embossing!
I love doing the chalkboard technique with using the Whisper White Craft inkpad and sponging ink on the black cardstock to dirty it up so to speak. It really gives the black cardstock the look of being a chalkboard!
So much fun!

My card lady said she was really pleased with this one and was happy I did not make one with flowers on for this card!
Truth be told, I almost gave her one with flowers on then I thought about using that adorable apple and the flower card went out the window! LOL
I'm so happy she loved it!

A big ole Happy Birthday wish for my dear sweet wonderful hubby!
Wishing him a wonderful day!

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day!

Floral Anniversary Set

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Today I have a set of Anniversary cards to share with you!
These are my favorites out of all the cards I just recently made for my card lady.
I pulled out my Art Gallery bundle for these...

I find these cards so refreshing with that pretty Fine Art Floral DSP!
I stamped my beautiful flower in Bumble Bee ink and diecut it with the Floral Gallery Dies. The stem & leaves were stamped in Mossy Meadow and diecut.
I popped them on with a couple of Dimensionals.
The sentiment comes from a really old Stampin Up! stamp set called Great Greetings.
I stamped it in Merry Merlot ink and diecut with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. I added a Bumble Bee Enamel Dot to each card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Art Gallery, Great Greetings (retired)
Ink: Merry Merlot, Bumble Bee, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Bumble Bee, Basic White, Fine Art Gallery DSP
Accessories:  Floral Gallery Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Bumble Bee Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

After I finished these I really did not want to sell them but I knew my card lady would do me proud and send every one of these beauties to people she knows!
And let me tell you, she made a big deal out of them when I delivered them to her recently! I'm so glad that I bring her a little bit of joy each month with the cards she requests. She's such a sweetheart!

Pansy HB

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yay! We made it to another weekend!

Today I am sharing a card that I made for my customer who requested a Pansy card for a very good friend of hers using the Pansy Patch stamp set.

Her friend's favorite color is pink so this card is loaded with the new In Color, Polished Pink! It's a bright color reminding me of Pink Passion from many years ago!
Those pretty pansy flowers were diecut from the  Pansy Petals DSP using the Pansy Dies. I love that they do this with their dies & DSP!

Card Details:

Stamps: Pansy Patch
Ink: Polished Pink
Cardstock: Polished Pink, Basic White, Pansy Petals DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Pansy Dies, Polished Pink Ribbon, Bumble Bee Trinkets, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Pansies are my least favorite flower but I have loved playing with this suite of products! I have more cards to share coming up using this suite!

Lots of Heart

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your week is going well!
I am in the thick of working on a pretty good sized card order so I am going to make this short today!

My card today is the 5th and last card from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. We made an Anniversary card!

Isn't this card pretty colorful?
We used paper from the new 2021-2022 Stampin Up Annual Catalog called Pattern Party DSP. This gigantic pack of paper is earned as a Hostess item.
I used this pretty colorful heart paper since Anniversaries are all about love & hearts.....plus it went well with the Lots of Heart stamp set and Many Hearts Dies which is still available in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalog!

The sentiment is from the now retired Many Mates stamp set.

Card Details:

Stamps: Lots of Heart, Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Real Red
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Basic White, Pattern Party DSP
Accessories: Many Hearts Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits (retired), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Hope you like this one!
It was fun to create this one with all those amazing heart dies!

Inspiring Iris Sympathy

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today the new 2021-2022 Stampin Up Annual Catalog went live and it has been a busy morning! I submitted 3 orders around 3am then headed back to bed for a few more Zzzzz's! I almost did not want to get back up but since the sun was shining I thought i'd better get moving!

Today I am sharing another card from last Friday's Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one uses the now retired Inspiring Iris set.

I have not done this stamp set much justice in the time it was available but I will continue to use it in my stamp room regardless of it being retired.
I try to keep the girls stocked up on all occasion cards during the year and then once the holidays come we transition over to those Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas cards. We've been on a roll with our get togethers so they should have a good supply of all occasion cards now!

Card Details:

Stamps: Inspiring Iris (retired)
Ink: Highland Heather, Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Purple Posy (retired), Basic White, Highland Heather DSP (retired)
Accessories: Tufted 3D EF (retired), Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Butterfly Gems (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Miss Emily just adored those Butterfly Gems!
I think it was the 1st time we ever used them but they were a nice change to use on this sympathy card!

Fancy Phrases HB

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
They always seem to go by so quickly, don't they?

A rainy day is on tap after a very warm sunny day yesterday!
I did a bunch of house work over the weekend and got my stamp room cleaned up  after my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together on Friday evening!
Today I am going to share card #2.
This one uses the retiring stamp set, Fancy Phrases.

Sadly, this stamp set is retiring today and I only just bought it a few months ago!
Everything on this card as a matter of fact is retiring....
The All Wired Up background stamp, the Playing w/ Patterns DSP, the Fancy Phrases stamp set, Purple Posy cardstock & ink and the Ovals Layering Framelits.

This card was Miss Emily's favorite card!
I used the Kitchen Table Stamper's Wonder Recipe for the DSP layout.
I love how it showcases the papers!

Card Details:

Stamps: Fancy Phrases, All Wired Up
Ink: Calypso Coral, Purple Posy, Crushed Curry
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Purple Posy, Crushed Curry, Basic White, Playing w/ Patterns DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Calypso Coral Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Tasteful Touches Masculine HB

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

Happy May 1st as well!!

Burrr, it got downright cold here overnight!
After a week of 80's & humidity, it turned very blustery yesterday and got quite cold this morning! They said our temps will bounce back into the mid 60's today and will still be very windy! I had to kick the heat back on just to take the chill off.

Last evening I had my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together for April.
We had so much fun!
We talked, laughed and made 5 cards!
It certainly is good for the soul to spend time with my friends!

My card today features the Tasteful Touches stamp set that is a hidden gem!
You could use this set for many different occasions.
This one I pulled the feather from the set to create a masculine Happy Birthday card!

The girls have lots of men in their lives so they always like make the masculine cards to have on hand. This one was very easy!
The diecut shapes on my card come from the coordinating die set called Tasteful Labels Dies and for the Night of Navy stitched scallop shape, we embossed that with my favorite, Tasteful Textile 3D EF!
The sentiment comes from the retired Happy Birthday, Gorgeous stamp set.
It was a small stamp that fit beautifully on the Basic White diecut.

Card Details:

Stamps: Tasteful Touches, Happy Birthday, Gorgeous (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Gray Granite
Cardstock: Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Basic White
Accessories: Tasteful Labels Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The ladies loved this one and had a fabulous time making it!
I try to keep things simple for them and using the feather to create our own background dsp so to speak was quick & easy!

I have a pack of cards coming up later this week to share using the same stamp set for my card lady! Using the feather makes for a great masculine card if fishing, hunting or cars are not something you'd want to use to create a masculine card.
You can't go wrong!
