JOY

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

I hope that your week is going well!
We are now just 4 days away from Christmas and life gets pretty busy at this time!
I am planning to work on my 2023 Calendars. I know I won't get them all done today but if I can atleast get January done the rest will happen next week!

Yesterday I got Audrey's cards all done and delivered to her.
She was happy with everything! She said she was going to try to get those last minute Christmas cards addressed and mailed out today so she was thrilled that I was able to get them delivered to her right away!

Here is one of the packs of Christmas cards that I made for her yesterday.
She loved the Christmas tree cards I made her on her last order that she requested another pack. I pulled out my Christmas Lights & Brightest Glow stamp sets and got to work!

I have had these stamp sets since July when it was Demo Preorder time and I only just recently pulled out the Christmas Lights bundle to play with it. It's so pretty! The Lights Aglow DSP is beautiful with pops of Gold Foil. I have plenty left that I can use next year!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Lights, Brightest Glow
Ink: Versamark
Cardstock: Soft Succulent, Very Vanilla, Gold Foil Paper, Lights Aglow DSP
Accessories: Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Twinkling Lights Dies, Festive Pearls, Gold/Vanilla Satin Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My hubby got a cold and is quite grumpy when he is not feeling good.
Today is going to be a tomato soup & grilled cheese kind of day and nothing beats the cold like a hot bowl or soup! It's been cold out but they are saying Friday it's to get brutal.
Looks like our Christmas weekend is going to be VERY cold. Burrr!
Bundle up my friends!

Seasonal Happy Birthday

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am off to my stamp table again to work on some cards for Audrey. She called me 3 times yesterday in a panic because she needed more Christmas cards, a pack of sympathy and 2 engagement cards. I will try to get them made for her and delivered tonight. I am also picking up the Christmas treat baskets. I hope there isn't much left.

I am sharing a pack of birthday cards that I made as part of her last order that was already delivered to her. She requested something seasonal for December so I pulled out some Painted Christmas DSP and whipped these up!

Card Details:

Stamps: Biggest Wish, Christmas Season
Ink: Evening Evergreen, Pear Pizzazz
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, Basic White, Painted Christmas DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Seasonal Labels Dies, Red Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These came together pretty easily since I had most of the bits & pieces already diecut in my stamp case from other projects. I thought this paper worked well for the season and these could be used for either a man or a woman which is what she wanted. She loved them!

Christmas Peekaboo Treat Bags

 Good Monday Morning, Everyone!

I hope you had a nice weekend!
Can you believe that Christmas is just a few short days away?!
Us crafters have been working on Christmas for months so it's hard to believe that it's almost here! We've had a very cold weekend and did some last minute shopping. I got all my gifts wrapped and under the tree except one big box for Ryan. It's a heavy one, too! I will need Shawn's help for that one!

How are you doing with your Christmas preparations?
I am happy where i'm at with mine and later this week I will make a homemade pumpkin pie for dessert.
I planned out my holiday meals last week. My freezers are stuffed full!
Meatball subs and a cheese tray for Christmas Eve. The usual turkey with all the fixings for Christmas Day. New Year's Eve will be steamed shrimp. And our New Year's Day tradition of Pork & Sauerkraut with mashed potatoes.

I am almost ready for the holiday hoopla to be over.
Last night was the last Hallmark Channel Christmas movie of the season.
It was a new one for Hanukkah. I did not stay up to watch it but hope to catch a repeat later this week. I have seen all but 5 of their new movies this season. Not bad out of 40!
Their Christmas movies will run up until January 1st so maybe I will see those 5 I missed.

Ok, let's get to some stamping now!
I have a sweet treat to share today using the Peekaboo Treat Bags again!

Bag #1 are made with the Silver & Gold DSP from the last SaleABRation offerings.
I have 4 packs of this DSP that I was saving to use for some New Year's cards but decided since the wrapper on my Ghiradelli Candies was Gold I need to use some of it for my treat bags! My sentiment is heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder and I used the Framed & Festive stamp set. Each treat bag has 2 Ghiradelli Snowmen in and these are Caramel & Milk Chocolate. I also added some of those Wonderful Snowflakes to each bag! Love these!

Bag #2 uses some Storybook Gnomes DSP since it matched the wrapper on my Ghiradelli candies. The candies are Milk Chocolate and I stamped my sentiment in Pacific Point.

Bag #3 uses paper from the Sweetest Christmas DSP. The candy is Peppermint Bark. My sentiment was stamped in Real Red ink.

I love how these turned out. I made up 5 of each color for a total of 15 treat bags.
I have used up all the treat bags that I had on hand. I will most likely get more as I really love them! The tops are like a ziplock bag and they are food safe which makes for a great treat holder!

Mitten Slider Boxes

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start!
One week until Christmas Eve!

Today we have a few errands to run but then we will be home the rest of the day.
The Baltimore Ravens play this afternoon at 4:30 so we'll be watching that.
Yesterday I got my laundry done & put away....today I am going to try to work on getting the gifts wrapped and the gift/money card holders ready and under the tree!

Today I have a very cute Christmas treat to share with you!
You may remember that I made these Slider Boxes back at Halloween time and filled them with Dove Chocolates. You can see them here.
They are so easy to whip up! I made these with the Celebrate With Tags Bundle and the Storybook Gnomes DSP.

Marisa from over at Kitchen Table Stamper showed us how to create these on one of her Facebook Lives and I think they make for a cute treat any time of the year.

Project Details:

Stamps: Celebrate With Tags
Ink: Pacific Point
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Shimmery White, Basic White, Storybook Gnomes DSP
Accessories: Celebrations Tags Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made these after I purchased the candy so I could have the package match the candy.
My tag on these boxes I diecut out using Shimmery White cardstock that Stampin Up! had carried for many years. I love the sparkle that it brings to a project and you can stamp on it, too!
Once I had my Mitten Slider Boxes completed I had to decorate the wood crate that I put them in. Those Wood Crates came from the Dollar Tree or the $1.25 Tree now that everything is $1.25! LOL
I decorated several of these wood crates like this which I can easily take the cardstock panels off and redo them next year if need be.
I was pleased with how my Christmas treats turned out this year!

Stamp Day Card #5

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Today I have the last card to share from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends.
This one was a total case from Angie Juda. I just loved it!

This gatefold card was a bit hard to photograph because the doors kept wanting to come open. LOL But isn't that Scottie dog so stinkin cute?!

Card Details:

Stamps: Christmas Scottie
Ink: Polished Pink, Memento Black
Cardstock: Polished Pink, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP (hostess)
Accessories: Stamparatus, Scottie Dog Punch, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Scalloped Contour Dies, Jingle Bell Trinkets, White Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

That pretty snowflake paper comes from the Celebrate Everything Paper DSP that is a hostess item. It is loaded with all kinds of prints for many different holidays that could be used all year long!

Yesterday was a really yukky day here. We did not get any snow just freezing rain that turned over to all rain. It poured most of the day and overnight. The sun is to make a return later today but we will see!
I never got around to getting that puzzle out. I ended up going to my stamp table to work on gift cards that I need for Christmas gifts. I hope over the weekend to start it!
How are you doing with your Christmas preparations?

Stamp Day Card #4

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today we have a weather impact day here in PA!
All the snow is going north of us and we are getting freezing rain then a change over to just plain rain later in the day. Sounds like a sloppy mess!
I'll be inside staying warm and working on another Christmas puzzle!

Today I have card #4 to share from Saturday's Stamp Day w/ Friends.
We had such a great time and enjoyed making these cards.
This one uses the Snowman Magic stamp set and the Storybook Gnomes DSP.

Card Details:

Stamps: Snowman Magic
Ink: Pacific Point
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Basic White, Storybook Gnomes DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Wonderful Snowflakes, White Glittered Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is the template to make your own card.
Debbie Henderson shared this on her FB page a few months ago and I kept it to use when I want to display some pretty papers! This is what I used with the Storybook Gnomes DSP to create my card.

Give this a try!
I promise, you are going to love it!

Stamp Day Card #3

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Yesterday I finished up my house work and today I am headed to my stamp table to make an Engagement card for Audrey. She called yesterday afternoon and asked if I could make her one and bring it in when I pick up the Christmas candy treats. I also need to whip up some Christmas Gift Cards while i'm down there.
The rest of the week I don't have much on my "To Do" List so I am going to dig out another Christmas puzzle and work on that. Thursday we have the chance for a mixed bag of snow, sleet, freezing rain then rain. I'm thinking it will be a good day to do a puzzle!

Today I have card #3 from my Stamp Day w/ Friends last Saturday!
This card is a semi case of a card that Lisa Freeman made a few weeks ago.
I loved the deer and the trees and since my friends & I live in households with mostly men, this was right up our alley!

Card Details:

Stamps: Grassy Grove, Perched In A Tree
Ink: Soft Suede, Evening Evergreen
Cardstock: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Basic White, Boughs of Holly DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits, Evergreen Forest 3D EF (retired), Grove Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Soft Succulent Ribbon, Festive Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Both Deb & Miss Emily loved this card!
They loved all the cards we made for Christmas which I am happy about.
Now I will soon need to get designing for our next get together which will mostly likely be Valentines! It's not even Christmas yet and here I am talking about Valentines!
Crazy!

Stamp Day Card #2

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I am sharing the next card that the girls made on Saturday at my Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This one looks complicated but I had most of it ready for them so they only had to stamp & adhere it. We also did some heat embossing!

This card uses the Cottage Wreath bundle which is a big favorite of mine!
Plus it was recently announced that this bundle will be carrying over! YAY!

I used the Organic Beauty Dies to diecut that beautiful background with Gold Foil Paper. Then we stamped the wreath and then heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder. The bow on the wreath is diecut from the Country Wreaths Dies and lastly we added a few Gold Festive Pearls.

Card Details:

Stamps: Cottage Wreath, Hope & Peace
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red, Versamark
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Organic Beauty Dies, Country Wreaths Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Festive Pearls, Dimensionals, Adhesive Sheets

And this was Miss Emily's favorite card!!

Stamp Day Card #1

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend!
It was very busy here so I am going to give my aching back and hands a rest for a few days before I start my housework this week. I feel like I have been going 100 mph the last few weeks and need to take a breather.

Today I am sharing a festive card from my Stamp Day w/ Friends get together from Saturday!

This one was pretty simple to do but adds a nice pop of sparkle with the retired glittered Shaded Spruce Glimmer Paper and the pretty iridescent Wonderful Snowflakes!
I had already run the Basic White panel thru the Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine using the Whimsical Woodland 3D EF so that was one step the girls did not have to do. I also diecut the glimmer paper and the circle ahead of time. It's hard to tell but the Shaded Spruce Glimmer Paper was diecut with the Labels Aglow Dies. They just had to stamp the sayings and adhere it all together.

Card Details:

Stamps: Brightest Glow
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Shaded Spruce Glimmer Paper (retired), Santa Express DSP
Accessories: Whimsical Woodland 3D EF, Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Labels Aglow Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits,  Iridescent Rhinestones, Wonderful Snowflakes, White Glittered Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Miss Emily loved this card but it was not her favorite.
Tomorrow I will share card #2.

Here are the Gingerbread Cupcakes that Shawn picked up at a local bakery for my stamp get together. Gingerbreads are my thing!!!

They were SO good!

Reese's PB Trees

Good Rainy Morning from Red Lion, PA!
Happy Sunday to you!

We woke up to a rainy almost sleet like kind of morning.
It's pretty cold which makes me think the rain is mixing with sleet.
Tis the season, right?

Yesterday Miss Bailee got her bath & a haircut. She looked so cute and the groomer put a cute little peppermint scarf on her. Even Mr Shady thought she looked & smelled quite nice! LOL
I had my Stamp Day w Friends get together in the afternoon.
We had such a good time! I will start sharing the pictures of the cards we made tomorrow so please be sure to come back and find out what Miss Emily's favorite was!
While we had Stamp Day my dear sweet hubby made a batch of Soft Snickerdoodle cookies and served them to us while making Christmas cards. They were still warm and were so good!
He even packaged a few up and sent them home with Deb & Emily!
After they left I packaged up the leftover treats and Audrey's card order and delivered them to her. Shawn also added a package of Snickerdoodles for her as well. She gave him a big ole hug for making her day! She loved all her cards she requested and was so happy with this year's Christmas treats! YAY!
All in all it was a very good day and I did manage to stay awake until my Hallmark movie was over last night!

So today I want to share my Reese's PB Trees treat!
These are made with the small Reese's PB Trees and I placed 2 in each acetate box.
The boxes are the 3 1/8 x 3 1/8 inch size boxes that are now retired.
As of last night I had 12 of them made and Miss Emily bought 10! Only 2 made their way to Audrey and I told her if she wanted more to let me know i'd be happy to make more for her!

I remember the day I made these...it was a Sunday afternoon while watching football.
They were so fun!

Project Details:

Stamps: Framed & Festive, Trees For Sale
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Real Red, Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Basic White, Santa Express DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Real Red Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The acetate boxes were just a tad bigger than my Reese's PB Trees so on the bottom I added a little red & green paper shred that I had leftover from doing craft shows. It worked out nicely and gave my treats a little cushion so they did not flop around inside the box. Very fun & festive!

My thoughts today...

I think it may be a football & hot chocolate kind of afternoon for me! LOL
