Wilderness Awaits Birthday

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope everyone had a great July 4th holiday yesterday!

We had a fun day here. Shawn & I took a 6 mile bike ride before the rain set in. What a killer on my legs! Peddled nonstop! Then for supper we steamed some crab legs and had a few laughs with Ryan while we picked away at them! This year was probably one of the best July 4th holidays I ever had!

So today I got a late start at heading down to my stamp room. I needed a card for a family friend who's birthday is coming this weekend and it needs to get in the mail ASAP! It's headed for Indiana!

I borrowed this stamp set from Tim's Mom, Deb, and i'm so glad that I was finally able to sit and get something made with it. I really like all the images in the set called Wilderness Awaits. I did have to sit and Google how to color the Mallard Duck in the picture because I wasn't quite sure. I used my Copics for it since they blend so much better.

I decided to pull out my Circle Card Thinlits to use this image on. I did let a bit of cardstock on the end and punched it out with an EK Success Tree Border Punch. I love the masculine feel of it and really adds to the card. My sentiments are from a Papertreyink set from many years ago.
All I need to do now it is put some cash inside and throw a stamp on it and it's ready to head to Indiana!

Happiest Birthday, Tim!!

I'm hoping mine leads to the Bahama's! And soon! Haha!

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy
