Get Well Box

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Today I have a fun project to share with you!

Earlier this week Kelsey had mentioned that her neighbor wasn't feeling good. She thought maybe she had Covid. I sent 2 boxes of Covid tests over to Kels to give the young lady so she could test. It came back negative. So it got me to thinking what could I do to help her feel better? I have never met this young girl but she is a single mom to 2 kiddo's and her & Kelsey have become good friends. As I was going thru my stash in my craft room I started working on a wood box that I got from the Dollar Tree a few years back. I added paper and then some paper shred inside. Then it hit me that I had a can of Campbell's Chicken & Rice soup in the pantry. I grabbed it and added it to my box along with some Hall's Honey Cough Drops. I then remembered that I had some small Kleenex tissue packs in my drawer so I made a box to put it in and decorated it to match the wood box. Lastly, I added some Dove Milk Chocolate & Caramel candies in a bag for when she is feeling better. I took pictures then wrapped it all up in a wine bottle cello bag that Stampin Up! carried years ago. I added a cute tag with some leaves. Shawn saw it when he got in from work and said we needed to deliver it so we did. We sat it on her doorstep and he knocked on her door and ran to get on the elevator so she did not see us. We laughed! To this day we have not heard anything on it. Kels has not mentioned it so i'm not sure if the young girl even mentioned it to her. Kelsey does not know we did this!! I wanted to brighten the girls day and hope she feels better soon.

I'm not gonna list all the stuff I used on this but if you need to know something just let me a message and i'll get back to you!

This was a fun little gift to make and I really do hope it helps her to feel better soon!

Sending Cheer Gift Card Holder

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a cute gift card holder to share with you!
I am trying hard to work ahead on all things for the upcoming holidays and as I was going thru my card rack to see what it needed I realized my Christmas Gift Card Holder slot was empty. So today's card is just that....a holiday gift card holder! I pulled out this package of Beary Christmas DSP from last year and found a whole sheet of this print. From there my card was made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Sending Cheer (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Real Red, Old Olive
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Balmy Blue, Beary Christmas DSP (retired)
Accessories: Sending Cheer Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Silver Trim Ribbon, Silver Festive Pearls (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is such a fun & festive set that I am happy to be creating more things with this year. I used it so much last year for the gingerbread in it which you may end up seeing more of his this year, too!

Under the Moon

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Today is looking like a hot and steamy day with a chance of severe storms.
I'm gonna be hiding out in my stamp room this afternoon working on some projects that I started yesterday and ran out of time.
I have a masculine card to share with you today that I made months ago and never took a picture of it. This was one of the 1st stamp sets I got from the new 2024-2025 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog back in May called Under the Moon...

Card Details:

Stamps: Under the Moon, Country Flowers
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Misty Moonlight DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Misty Moonlight In Color Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I originally made this card for one of Audrey's grandson's when she requested birthday cards for them but I ended up making something completely different and kept this one in my personal card box. Love that little sailboat!

Sara's Anniversary

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Looking to be a hot & humid day here in Pennsylvania. Even though the calendar says it's the end of August we still have more hot & humid weather to get thru before Fall arrives in a few weeks. We've very much enjoyed the last week or so that it was pleasant out but now the ac is back on.
Today I have one last Anniversary card to share with you!
This card wasn't needed until December so i'm not sure why Audrey requested it so early but this one is for her granddaughter Sara who got married at the end of December in 2023.
This is the wedding card I made and here is the 1st anniversary...

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Fern (retired), First Frost (retired), Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Baroque Burgundy (retired), Mossy Meadow, Sahara Sand (retired)
Cardstock: Baroque Burgundy, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Copper Foil Paper
Accessories: Forever Flourishing Dies (retired), Frosted Bouquet Framelits (retired), Burgundy Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept trying to add things like sequins and enamel dots but I wanted it to stay as original to the wedding card as I could get it. I also have to remember that Audrey does not like all the sparkle with the rhinestones and ribbons so we kept it original. In the end she loved it!

Nathan's Anniversary

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Today I have another Anniversary card to share that was made for another one of Audrey's grandson's. He was married at the beginning of September last year so this is for his first wedding anniversary coming up soon! I have never met Nathan as he does not live close but I have met her other 2 grandson's. If I remember correctly he married a young lady from New York. I'm not sure where they live now as he was in the service. This card is made almost like the original wedding card...

Card Details:

Stamps: All Year Cheer 3 (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Petal Pink, Petal Promanade DSP (retired)
Accessories: Thoughtful Expressions Dies, Very Vanilla Ribbon (retired), Very Vanilla Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This is Nathan's wedding card from 2023.
Yes, I have to document all the cards I make for Audrey so I can look back when she asks about a certain card. It helps to keep me in check!

Today I have some cleaning to do.
We did a cleanout of our bedroom closet a few weekends ago and I still have a few more things toward the back of my space that I need to go through. I've already parted with 2 bags full of clothes that are too big. I am just not ready to part completely with it yet since I am not sure if down the road I will need them or not. I found some Halloween t-shirts that I had no idea I even had because they never fit. Now they are a bit big but that's ok...I will use them this year and that is such a great feeling! I also found my pink silk wedding dress that I bought from Fashion Bug in 1990. (Anyone remember Fashion Bug?) Each day I am getting closer to being able to try that on again and I estimate that maybe by Christmas that might happen. Time will tell!

Anthony's Anniversary

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Today I have an Anniversary card to share with you that was made for Audrey's card order last week. This card is for her one grandson who celebrated his 3rd wedding anniversary this past week. She always asks me to keep the cards almost the same as their wedding card so I had to go back and look at the cards I have made in the past and go from there. Everything on this card is long retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: All Year Cheer 3 (retired), Amazing You (retired SAB 2018)
Ink: Bordering Blue (retired)
Cardstock: Bordering Blue (retired), Basic White
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Eyelet 3D EF, White Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My Bordering Blue ink pad is an old Linen pad which needs a good reinking as do many of my older ones. Thankfully, I still have reinkers left to do this. Some of these colors were out when I first got into stamping back in 2000-2001.

That's all for today!

Sweetly Scripted

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Today I have a pretty card to share that I made with the Sweetly Scripted stamp set from the Online Exclusives list. This set reminds me of 2 wood mounted sets from Stampin Up! that were out in the early 2000's called Wonderful Words & Wonderful Words 2. I'm pretty sure I still have both in my collection!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweetly Scripted (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Summer Splash
Cardstock: Summer Splash, Basic White, Petunia Pop, Unbounded Beauty DSP
Accessories: Exposed Brick 3D EF, Nested Essentials Dies, Flowers of Beauty Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another one made for the card rack since my Get Well slot is getting empty.
That DSP I find a bit challenging to use because it's quite busy.
It sure made a pretty card though!

Changing Leaves for Fall

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Halfway thru the week!
It's going to be a crafty kind of day here since Shawn won't be home from work until later this evening. He has a dinner out with all his mechanics which they do once a year which gives everyone a chance to talk about issues or things they can do differently. So tonight it's just Ryan & I and we are gonna have pizza!

Today I am sharing another card made with the Changing Leaves bundle.
I really like that it has several different leaves & sayings plus a bunch of different dies! Oh, and an embossing folder! I was thinking about Fall leaves when I made this because it feels like a touch of Fall outside! There are 33 days until Fall arrives! I always tell Kelsey, we get one day closer with each passing day! It's her favorite time of the year! She hates the summer heat & humidity....just like me!

Card Details:

Stamps: Changing Leaves (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Wild Wheat, Pumpkin Pie, Copper Clay, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Wild Wheat, Pumpkin Pie, Copper Clay, Cajun Craze, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Changing Leaves Hybrid EF & Dies, Wild Wheat Ribbon, Gold Sequins, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Not sure what i'm going to get into today, maybe some cards.
Yesterday I worked on a Christmas treat holder and got those finished.
I will fill them with candies when it gets closer!

Last evening I did visit with Audrey for about an hour!
She was really talkative and in great spirits!

Changing Leaves

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have Fall & Autumn on my mind!
We are in for cooler, nicer weather the next couple of days and it may even feel a bit like Fall!
I pulled out a new favorite stamp set called Changing Leaves.
This bundle also comes with a hybrid embossing folder and is from the Stampin Up! Online Exclusives list. I just love the sets that have leaves in them!

Sorry my bow is covering my sentiment.
The DSP panels measure 3 3/4 x 1 and I tore the bottom edge of the BoHo Blue cardstock. Haven't done that technique in awhile.

Card Details:

Stamps: Changing Leaves (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, BoHo Blue, Basic White, Countryside Inn DSP
Accessories: Changing Leaves Dies & EF (Online Exclusives), Silver Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin Seal Adhesive

Today I am working on some Christmas treat holders that I found in my stash.
I'm still not sure on Halloween things yet so working ahead to Christmas!
Also making the trip to Audrey's this evening to deliver her card order!
Looking forward to seeing her!

Oh My Word Baby Boy

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Yesterday was a dreary rainy day with the same happening today which is fine with me.
Shawn got called into work this morning so I am going to take advantage of it and go to my stamp table to work on Audrey's cards.

Today I have another adorable baby card to share with you using the Oh My Word stamp set from many years ago! It was a Stampin Up! hostess set back in 2005. I used this set a few weeks ago on a baby girl card that Audrey requested. I looked on my card rack and I do not have many cards for a boy so I decided to make this to add to that spot. I do think this card has already sold as I do not remember seeing it the other day which is a good thing!

Card Details:

Stamps: Oh My Word (retired hostess 2005), Zoo Babies (retired)
Ink: Pool Party, Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Pool Party, Basic White, Twinkle Twinkle DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Pool Party Ribbon (retired), Night of Navy Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

That's going to do it for me today!

Filled With Cheer Notebook

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

Hope your having a good day so far!
Got my mammogram done yesterday and while I was there I had the same lady that's been doing my mammograms for the last 5 years. She had asked what medication I was on for my diabetes and I softly said I was taking Mounjaro. That opened a can of worms so to speak. She too is diabetic and is taking Ozempic! We chit chatted for a good while since I was her last patient of the day. She walked me out and said she'd see me next year and we will compare notes then! Super nice lady who may be a bit younger than me but always pleasant! Got home and made supper and Shawn helped clean up and went to the Susquehanna River fishing for a bit. Miss Bailee & I crawled in the recliner and took a nap once dishes were done. We did get another walk in before it got dark and before we had any rain. They are calling for rain & thunderstorms today & tomorrow here in PA. Our Baltimore Ravens play their 2nd preseason game today at noon so we will be watching!

I do have a fun project to share with you using the Filled With Cheer stamp set from the Online Exclusives list. It is a fun one! I found in my stash a stack of spiral bound notebooks and I decided to cover it and have fun decorating it!

Project Details:

Stamps: Filled With Cheer
Ink: Real Red, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green, Real Red, Smoky Slate, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie, Pool Party
Cardstock: Basic White, Real Red, Reindeer Days DSP
Accessories: Filled With Happiness Dies (Online Exclusives), Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Gold Snowflake Doilies (retired), Adhesive Back Snowflakes, Garden Green Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This also comes with an RSVP pen that has paper in the barrel to match it!
I use to recover notebooks all the time for the craft shows. I love making them and still have several notebooks in my stash to play around with for this upcoming holiday! They really are fun to make and people love them for gifts!

Iconic Celebrations

Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Hope your day is off to a great start!
We were up early this morning and took a quick walk around the neighborhood.
It was a wee bit werid being that it was completely dark out and so quiet! I got the washing machine rolling and the coffee brewing to help get the day started. I have an appointment this afternoon for my yearly mammogram so it's doubtful I will get to my stamp table to play. Audrey gave me a small order which I may try to get working on tomorrow.

Today I am sharing a card made with a suite of products from the Stampin Up! Online Exclusives list. This is called Iconic Celebrations Suite. I love the DSP which can cover all occasions thru Valentines Day! This one is a Christmas card...

Card Details:

Stamps: Iconic Imagery (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Iconic Celebrations DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Iconic Imagery Dies (Online Exclusives), White/Silver Sheer Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Stampin Seal Adhesive

I did a quick trip to the grocery store last evening and saw that they had some Halloween candy out. I did not purchase any as i'm not sure where to begin with Halloween treats this year. I keep looking to see if Stampin Up! has a Halloween DSP yet and so far nothing.

Amen to that!

Sweet Ice Cream HB

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope your having a great day so far!

I am being quite lazy today! LOL
I slept in this morning which I don't do much anymore but today for some reason I felt the need. Nothing much on my agenda today other than getting a grocery list prepared. I had a friend come over yesterday who use to stamp with my big group of girls. It's been quite a few years since I last seen her and she wanted to stop buy to purchase some cards. She also brought me several bins of stamps, paper and cardstock! She hasn't stamped in many years so she just wanted to gift me with all of it. She asked that I go thru the bins and take what I want and she will come pick up whatever is left. I told her I will make great use of the cardstock and anytime she is free for a few hours to give me a yell and we will get together and make cards so she has cards in her arsenal & she can use her own supplies. I really miss stamping with the big group of ladies that I use to get together with on a monthly basis. I guess everyone's lives got busy and we all went our separate ways. Back before Covid hit I was trying to get my group of 6 girls together here & there and they all loved the time spent with friends making cards. Well, Covid came and that stopped and then our lives just went in different directions. I thought many times to try and get everyone back together and maybe I still will eventually. I do miss the friendships as those ladies were so wonderful to me when we transitioned from the move to MO and back to PA. Anyways, it was SO nice to have her visit and catch up. I hope we can do some cardmaking in the future.

So, today I have another fun & yummy ice cream cone card to share with you!
This one uses the retired Sweet Ice Cream set from a few years back. It was a favorite of mine.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sweet Ice Cream (retired)
Ink: Terracotta Tile (retired), Pecan Pie, Calypso Coral
Cardstock: Bumble Bee (retired), Terracotta Tile (retired), Petal Pink, Basic White, Sweet Ice Cream Corner DSP (retired)
Accessories: Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Scalloped Contour Dies (retired), Terracotta Tile Ribbon (retired), Bumble Bee In Color Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Love the colors of this one!
That suite of products was always a favorite of mine and I still have quite a bit of the DSP left! It's a great bundle for those summertime birthdays because who doesn't love ice cream?!
