Valentines Day has finally arrived!

Today I have a few cards to share that I whipped up using the Sending Love Bundle.

The entire Sending Love Suite is fantastic! 

Probably one of my favorite Valentines Day sets yet!

These all have the same layout but I used a different sheet of the Sending Love DSP Stack on them. These were simple & quick to make because the heart edgelit die just makes it so much easier and packs quite a punch on these cards! Love, love, love!

Anniversary Wishes

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend!

Today I have another quick card to share then i'm off to get my housework started.

My card today uses the set Falling for You and I found this to be one of the nicest sets in the Occasions Mini. I love the sayings!

I let the dsp do most of the work on this card. It's called Falling in Love DSP and there are some gorgeous prints in the pack! Then there are the new lace doilies from the same collection. They are Whisper White on one side and Very Vanilla on the other which is nice depending on which neutral you use.

Valentine's Day Is Coming....

Hello & Happy Saturday!

The last few days here in PA have been very cold! Today it's to get into the 50's and hopefully will melt what little bit of snow we have. Last night our temps bottomed out around 15 degrees. Burrrr! I'm SO ready for those 50's today!

Since it's been too cold to even stick your nose out the door....I spent some time at my stamp table. Here is a card I whipped up using the patterned paper as my starting point.

A Valentine Card & Treat

How many of you woke up to snow this morning?

Yea, it's crazy after a few days of 50's & 60's that today we have very cold temps and snow! I was really hoping we'd get thru winter without any this year.

Yesterday we had a high temperature of 64 and it was so nice! I had windows open to air out the house and the doggies just loved playing in the yard! 

My hubby is working from home due to the weather and that's just fine with me!

So today I have a card and a yummy candy treat to share!

These were fun to create!

I was asked to create this card for a child so I dug thru my stamps and pulled out my Animal Valentines stamp set from early 2000. I've used this set many of times for Valentines for my kids when they were little. I used the dog for this one and some retired Loves Me DSP. I made my card a Gatefold type and used the ribbon to keep it closed.

It feels good to use up some of my older stash!

My sweet treat is a pouch that is filled with Dove Milk Chocolate Hearts. There are 4 hearts in each pouch. I made these for Halloween and filled them with Kit Kat bars. You can see them here.

These measure 2 X 11 scored at 5 & 6 and then used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch to punch both ends. I used a small piece of 2 sided tape to adhere the cello bag inside then tied a piece of ribbon thru the ends to hold the pouch together. I cut my pouches out of Melon Mambo cardstock then added patterned paper that I think came from Hobby Lobby last year. My sentiment panel was cut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits (LOVE THESE!). My sentiment comes from All Year Cheer 3 that is retired too. The row of hearts is from the Sending Love Bundle.

The Dove Chocolates are packed in a 2 X 8 SU Cello Bag that I cut at 5 to fit in my pouches.

I enjoy making these pouches!

Yummy In My Tummy

Hope your all having a great week so far!

Yesterday I sat and stamped these cute treat holders for Valentines day.

I had 3 boxes of these Stampin Up Sweet Treat Cups that were out years ago. They went along with a stamp set called Sweet Centers which I do still have and use. I seen the this monster and wondered if the Treat Cup would fit inside. Yep, they do!! These cups have a sticky strip on them and since I have had these for quite a few years....the sticky is no longer sticky! I used Glue Dots to make them stick. Worked like a charm!

These treats have a door on the right hand side that if you pull it, it opens the back and you can get to the candy easily! Took me a bit to work that out but once it was done I was so excited with these! My monster is from the Yummy In My Tummy stamp set that is in the Occasions Mini Catalog. My friend, Vicki Burdick, put an EOS Lip Balm in the center of this monster which I thought was a brilliant idea! Here is the link to her adorable EOS monster.

Avant Garden Case

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Wasn't yesterday's weather gorgeous?!

Shawn & I got out for a hike around supper time and got back to our car just as it started to get dark. The weather was mid 50's and the sun was shining brightly. Perfect day to get out and get some fresh air.

Before the walk I was at my stamp table and I saw this card in the SaleABration Catalog and decided to case it.

I was drawn to the colors and those pretty flowers and of course the cool design!

Did y'all stay up and watch the Super Bowl last night?

We did and I am paying for it today! LOL

I'm in lazy mode and can't seem to get my butt in gear even after 2 cups of coffee!

It's going to be one of those days!

I do have a card to share today. I had this paper for awhile now. Not sure where it came from but it was too pretty not to use.

The card base is Melon Mambo with a layer of Whisper White under the patterned paper. I love the different colors of pink in this! My sentiment is from Stampin Up called Stylized Birthday. I had this stamp from a while now and finally inked it up! I just love the font on it!

Oldie But A Goodie

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Superbowl Sunday is here!

We are not huge fans of either team in the Superbowl this year but we always watch the game to see the commercials and the halftime performances. They are always sure to please!

Anyone have any big plans for the game tonight?

Yesterday, hubby & I got out for a walk. It was a pretty brisk day with the temps only around 34 but we have been feeling cooped up the last few weeks and needed to get out. We bundled up and hit the trail which was just what the doctor ordered. It's good for the mind, body & soul and as you can see Shawn is starting to feel much better! Yipppeee!!

This next picture shows that where Shawn is walking use to be covered with water up to the grass line. The water level has been like this since last fall. They lowered the water to put in some sort of a drain or pipe at one end of the lake. You can see how low the water has been for months. Odd to see since the water use to come right up alongside the trail.

Alright, enough on that!

Let's move on to some stamping stuff!

I played a bit yesterday with some old retired Stampin Up stuff. Always good therapy to break out the old stuff and create! This card uses the set called Toucan My Love and Loves Me DSP...both retired.

So much fun to create using the older things!

Birthday Blast Bundle

Hello & Happy Saturday!

A late start to the weekend for us but it's a nice sunny morning and that's definitely good for the soul! That being said, don't let the sunshine fool you.....it's freezing outside! I have also noticed the last couple of days that the days are staying lighter longer and i'm thrilled about that! 

So, yesterday I played at my stamp table for most of the day.

 I am trying to get some Valentines made plus some treats in the next couple of days. 

My card today uses a new set called Birthday Blast Bundle from the Stampin Up Occasions Catalog. 

I really like that coordinating Edgelit. I cut it out with some Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper because it went nicely with the Dapper Denim papers. I thought this would be a great masculine card.

Back to Crafting....

Finally found my way back to my stamp table.

 It was a bit slow at first but once I got started I was on a roll.

11 days till Valentine's Day....I have alot to catch up on!

My first card of the season...

 I also used the SCS Sketch Challenge from Wednesday.

 It's tough getting back into the swing of things after a 6 or 7 week break so that's why I used a sketch to help get me started. I love the colored hearts on this dsp! Makes it very colorful, don't ya think?
