Oldie But A Goodie

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Superbowl Sunday is here!
We are not huge fans of either team in the Superbowl this year but we always watch the game to see the commercials and the halftime performances. They are always sure to please!
Anyone have any big plans for the game tonight?

Yesterday, hubby & I got out for a walk. It was a pretty brisk day with the temps only around 34 but we have been feeling cooped up the last few weeks and needed to get out. We bundled up and hit the trail which was just what the doctor ordered. It's good for the mind, body & soul and as you can see Shawn is starting to feel much better! Yipppeee!!

A picture of our walk....

This next picture shows that where Shawn is walking use to be covered with water up to the grass line. The water level has been like this since last fall. They lowered the water to put in some sort of a drain or pipe at one end of the lake. You can see how low the water has been for months. Odd to see since the water use to come right up alongside the trail.

Alright, enough on that!
Let's move on to some stamping stuff!

I played a bit yesterday with some old retired Stampin Up stuff. Always good therapy to break out the old stuff and create! This card uses the set called Toucan My Love and Loves Me DSP...both retired.

So much fun to create using the older things!

Hoppy Valentine's Day Card:

Stamps: Toucan My Love
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Close to Cocoa, Regal Rose, Whisper White, Love Me DSP
Accessories: Paper Clip, Regal Rose 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Lil Inker's Stitched Rectangle Dies, Clear Wink of Stella, Dimensionals, Mono Adhesive

The heart has Wink of Stella on it for a pop of sparkle.
That marker is the most amazing thing ever created! LOL

My thoughts today......

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Eek! That is an oldie but still so cute to use. I love the papers you chose, they are perfect. Glad you had a nice walk and I am sure it was good therapy, even though it was past chilly!

I don't think I've ever seen that stamp before, but it sure is CUTE! Those papers are a perfect match! I'm glad to know Shawn was feeling well enough to go for a walk, and he looks like he's lost some serious weight through all of this. Hopefully it will all be behind him soon and you two can carry on with walks and bike rides more often. Spring is just around the corner - yippee!

We watch the superbowl for the ads and half-time shows too! Bruno Mars was my favorite of them all so far :) Have fun!
