Friendly Hello

 Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

I hope you all had a nice weekend?
Did you remember to change your clocks an hour ahead?
Shawn got all our clocks changed and then changed out the batteries in the smoke detectors.

Saturday I spent all day at my stamp table!
It was wonderful! I haven't done that in a very long time!
I pulled out a few things from SaleABRation that I did not get to use and made some cards!

I made a pack of these for on my card rack.
I'm sure they won't last long!
I left my pretty papers do all the work and just added my sentiment on a tag!

Card Details:

Stamps: Friendly Hello (SAB 22)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Pool Party, Basic White, Friendly Hello DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Tailor Made Tags Dies, White Glittered Ribbon, Iridescent Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

When creating these cards I placed my sentiment tags above or below where my bird was on the DSP. I just could not cover that sweet bird!

Coffee & A Mystery Card Challenge

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

What a difference today is compared to yesterday.
Lots of blue skies and its a bit warmer too!
We got about 4 inches of snow which lasted all day.
It's melting nicely today and the rest of this coming week it is to be in the 50's & 60's which will melt this snow until it's gone!
I hope this was our last snowfall as i'm ready for spring & flowers!

Today I have a set of cards to share that I made for another one of Kitchen Table Stampers Coffee & A Mystery Card Challenge. I love her style of stamping and the challenges that she does with her followers. This is the list of things we needed for Thursday's Challenge...

I pulled out my Hand Penned stamp set and Hand Penned DSP and got my card started.
I need a pack of Thinking of You cards for my card lady so I decided to use this challenge to make that set.

I love those challenges and will try to play along when I can.
It definitely helps me to get out of my comfort zone and use colors I normally would not use.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hand Penned, Special Moments (SAB 22)
Ink: Mint Macaron, Cinnamon Cider, Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Mint Macaron, Pool Party & Cinnamon Cider
Cardstock: Mint Macaron, Basic White, Cinnamon Cider, Hand Penned DSP
Accessories: Hippo & Friends Dies, Tailor Made Tags Dies, Penned Flowers Dies, Blending Brushes, Mint Macaron Shimmer Ribbon (retired), Wink of Stella, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Happy 80th Birthday!

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

We are in for a day of rain & snow then temperatures are going to drop like a rock!
Thankfully I do not have to go out in it but my poor doggies do.

Today I have another card to share that was part of the recent card order.
My card lady wanted an 80th birthday card for a friend.
I had a bunch of retired items out on my table so that is the route I went...

Card Details:

Stamps: Number of Years (retired)
Ink: Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Pool Party, Mossy Meadow, Basic White, Birthday Bouquet DSP (retired)
Accessories: Large Number Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits, Blush Blossom Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My card lady loved it and said it was perfect for her friend!
WooHoo!

First Communion

 Good Morning and Happy Fri-YAY!

The weekend is here but it's to get down right cold with snow happening tomorrow!
My plans....stay warm and hopefully do some crafting!
Going to make chili in the crockpot and call it a day at my stamp table.
But before we start complaining about the cold & snow...today we are going to have a beautiful day! 60 degrees and lots of sunshine! WooHoo!
I noticed yesterday while walking the dogs that my daffodils & tulips are starting to come up!
A sure sign that spring is almost here!

Today's card is one that my card lady requested for a young girl at church.
It's a good thing that I kept the Inspired Events stamp set from a few years ago.

Card Details:

Stamps: Inspired Events (retired)
Ink: Highland Heather
Cardstock: Highland Heather, Basic White, Highland Heather DSP
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Tailored Tag Punch, Detailed Trio Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I probably should make a few more of these to keep on my card rack.
At Christmastime the stamp girls cleared some of the pockets on my big card rack so I started working on refilling those pockets.
I made a bunch of Happy New Year cards earlier this week.
Next I will move on to making belated birthday cards in between card orders.
Yes, my card lady already hit me up for a few things for her next order.
She keeps me very busy!

Hand Penned Birthday

Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

The weekend is almost here!
They are saying more wintry weather for Saturday. I really hope not.
Yesterday's weather turned out to be a sloppy wet mess and thankfully the snow did not stick around very long!

Today I have a pretty set of birthday cards to share using the Hand Penned Suite.
I made these to put on my card rack.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hand Penned, Pansy Patch
Ink: Mist Moonlight, Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Misty Moonlight, Pale Papaya, Mint Macaron
Cardstock: Pale Papaya, Misty Moonlight, Basic White, Hand Penned DSP
Accessories: Painted Texture 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Penned Flowers Dies, Genial Gems, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

A beautiful suite of products that I really like!
The papers are a bit busy but I think with this design it helps to keep them calmed down and your eye is drawn to the focal point.

Hey Friend Set 2

Hello & Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

Woke up this morning to....snow!
Thankfully it's not laying. Atleast not yet!
I think it's going to be a bit too warm for it and may possibly turn to just plain rain as the day goes on.

I said the other day that I would share the 2nd set of Sunshine cards when I got them finished for my card lady.  Here they are...

The colors & DSP is different but everything else is the same.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sharing Sunshine, Biggest Wish
Ink: Mango Melody, Pool Party, Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Memento Black
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Basic White, So Saffron, Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Tasteful Labels Dies, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I like the colors & paper that I used on both sets of cards so I can't pick a favorite.
I think these would surely bring a smile to whom ever receives them!
I have a feeling she'll be asking for more!

For Baby Henry

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Everyone!

We had a warm day yesterday and it was very windy!
It got to 71 degrees and then rain came in the evening.
Today we are back to the 30's and calling for snow tomorrow morning!
How crazy! Mother Nature isn't giving up on winter yet!

My card lady needed an Easter card for baby Henry.
I went thru my cello bag of Easter images that were leftover from cards or projects.
I found this sweet little Easter peep already colored and ready to go on a card.

I started my card with a Pear Pizzazz cardbase and then a layer of Basic White that I embossed with my favorite embossing folder, Tasteful Textile 3D EF!
I found some strips of DSP in the same colors as my Easter peep and staggered them on my Basic White piece. Next I adhered my Easter peep on and stamped a sentiment from the Welcome Easter stamp set with Pear Pizzazz ink. I flagged the end with the Tailored Tag Punch and added it on my card. I glued it flat over top of those colorful strips. I added a Daffodil Delight & Pear Pizzazz Enamel Dot that was in my stash. Lastly, I added a Daffodil Delight bow with a glue dot.
I think it turned out pretty cute and I hope baby Henry enjoys it!

Card Details:

Stamps: Welcome Easter
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Memento Black, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive Light Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Pear Pizzazz, Basic White, Daffodil Delight, DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Tailored Tag Punch, Enamel Dots (retired), Wink of Stella, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Daffodil Dies for Easter

 Hello & Happy Monday,  Friends!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!
Our weather yesterday was pretty warm....74 degrees!
However, it was cloudy all day and very windy.
It was nice to open the windows just a little bit and let the fresh air in.
I was a bit under the weather this weekend with a head cold/sinus issues.
I guess with our weather the last few weeks being all over the place it was bound to happen.
I'm hoping in the next few days to feel better.

Saturday I worked all day on my recent card order. My card lady order 3 packs of Easter cards this year and I already shared the other 2 packs. Today I have the last pack to show and I used more of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP from SaleABRation. I'm working hard to get that pack used up!

I was so happy with how these turned out that I almost thought about keeping them for myself! LOL I used the Daffodil Dies on these for the first time. I had to go in search of how to use them. Lots of parts & pieces and once I figured out how to layer them it went quick. I also used Adhesive Sheets on the back of my cardstock so I did not have to glue down each & every piece. Those Adhesive Sheets are amazing!

Card Details:

Stamps: Daffodil Daydream
Ink: Crushed Curry, Memento Black, Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Daffodil Afternoon DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Daffodil Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Pretty Pillow Box Dies, Adhesive Sheets, Champagne Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept these cards flat for easy mailing for my card lady.
It took all I had to not add a bow to these!
I'm a sucker for ribbon and bows!

Hello Friend

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Last Sunday afternoon I snuck off to my stamp table and started to play around with the Sharing Sunshine stamp set. I ended up making a pack of cards that I decided I would address and mail out to a couple of my friends...

As this week went on I started hearing from all the friends that received a card in the mail.
Everyone said that they made them smile and it made their day!
And that in return makes me happy to know I made someone's day! 🌞

Card Details:

Stamps: Biggest Wish, Sharing Sunshine
Ink: Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Mango Melody, Basic Black
Cardstock: So Saffron, Basic White, Sunshine & Rainbows DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Tasteful Labels Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Iridescent Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I even got an order for a pack of these that I started working on yesterday!
They are going to be a bit different though as I do not have anymore of the same papers I used on these. I'm sure the set will be just as wonderful as these!
I will share them here once they are finished!

Irish Blessings & Rae Dunn

 Hello & Happy Friday, Everyone!

Today's blog post is going to be a long one so i'm going to get right to it!

St Patrick's Day is right around the corner along with Spring!
I always try to make St Patrick's Day cards every year and send a few out to friends.
This year I was way ahead of the game as I made these back in January on a very cold day!
I went to my stamp table and just pulled out a bunch of stuff and started playing around.

I started with a single piece of Basic White cardstock measuring 4 x 5 1/4.
I pulled out the Basic Patterns Decorative Masks and a new Blending Brush and got it all dirty in the Garden Green inkpad. I lightly sponged the ink onto my white cardstock. Some area's I made really dark and some very light. I loved the contrast! This was the start of my St Patrick's Day cards!
My sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly which I stamped in Garden Green and diecut with the Stitched Rectangle Framelits. The Gold Foil Paper was diecut with a scallop die from the Brilliant Rainbow Dies. I cut 2 for each card and placed them on either side of my sentiment panel. My 3 Leaf Clover is from Impression Obsession and I used Garden Green cardstock. I added that with Mini Dimensionals at the bottom of my sentiment panel. Lastly, I added some non SU Gold Rhinestones for sparkle!

Card Details:

Stamps: Irish Blessings (My Sentiments Exactly)
Ink: Garden Green
Cardstock: Garden Green, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Brilliant Rainbow Dies, Basic Pattern Decorative Masks, Impression Obsession Clover Die, Gold Rhinestones, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

And before I go, I have my St Patrick's Day decorations to share!

This first picture is of my kitchen table.
All of the goodies have been found at Hobby Lobby or Home Goods stores.
2 of the Rae Dunn mugs I bought off of Ebay but everything else we found at either Home Goods or Marshall's.

The tiered tray Kelsey gave me and I decided this year I was going to do my best to find things small enough to fit in it. Sadly, my Rae Dunn mugs do not fit it. Everything on it came from Hobby Lobby except for the green beads.....not sure where they came from as I have had them for years! The LUCKY tray and the shamrock plate came from Marshall's on a lucky find!  I filled my plate with Ande's Thin Mints for St Patrick's Day!

My picture table has a few things on for St Patrick's Day, too!
I haven't really found much else.
All the decorations on this table came from Home Goods except the shamrock pillow and the wire basket on the far right hand side. They came from Target's Dollar Spot. The wire basket has a few Rae Dunn mugs inside of it, 2 St Patrick's Day bowls that I have fake gold coins in and a Lucky Charms sign. On top of my basket is a wood lid that is made to sit on top. I found the fake stack of wooden books at Home Goods. Maybe next year I will find more fun things for St Patrick's Day!

And lastly is my favorite shelf in the whole house!
I love decorating this for every holiday!

The Leprechan Treats Canister is Rae Dunn and a very lucky find by Kelsey!
When she gave it to me i'm sure my jaw hit the floor because finding the canisters are very hard! She gave it to me since she does not decorate for St Patrick's Day.
The shamrock flowerpot and the Rae Dunn mugs we found at Home Goods. The signs came from Marshall's as well as the garland! The green gumball machine has shamrocks on top and I found that at Hobby Lobby and filled it with more Ande's Thin Mints. What is hard to see in this picture is a strand of fairy lights that have shamrocks on that light up! They really set this shelf alive in the evenings when they are lit! They came from Hobby Lobby, too! Most of the Rae Dunn items were found right after Christmas and I did not hesitate to grab it because it seems St Patrick's Day things are harder to find.
It all just makes me smile!
Shawn always says he likes how it looks once everything is decorated!
He even helps shop for it!

I hope you enjoyed seeing my other hobby besides stamping!
I'm learning as I go!
Next up will be Easter but I promise I will wait to share that next month!

That is all for now!
I'll be back soon with more stamped goodies!
