Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday I got my kitchen all painted!!
Today I have to put everything back into it's place and clean.
Glad that's done!!

And on a good note....Shawn passed that kidney stone this morning!!!
It was one of the oddest looking stones I ever seen from him.
It had a hook on it...no wonder he had alot of pain with this one!
Yesterday he did see the doctor again and he is referring him to a Urologist because he has other stones still in each kidney. Kidney stones have always plagued him and I hope he soon wakes up and makes changes to his diet because I fear his kidney function is going to be compromised if this keeps up!

Yesterday the Governor of Pennsylvania closed down all non essential businesses to keep the Coronavirus from spreading. Kelsey most likely will be without work for several weeks since she works at a local restaurant which can only stay open for take out services. She's already started to worry how to make ends meat with paying rent in 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure Corey will still be working which will help. This is something nobody seen coming and something most people today have never seen! Sorta scary but we're not alone in this as the entire country is in the same boat.
I'm sure as the week goes on your going to see more changes coming.

So, enough on the chit chat......let's get to some stamping!

It is St. Patrick's Day!
With everything going on in the world it's seems like this holiday kinda got pushed under the rug.
Last month when the bathroom renovation was going on I worked ahead on cards for my card lady.
This is one pack of St Patrick's Day cards I made...

Stampin Up does not carry much anymore for St Patrick's Day so I have a bunch of retired stamps that I continue to use each year.

Card Details:

Stamps: Lucky Shamrock (retired)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Shaded Spruce, Very Vanilla, The Paper Studio- Hobby Lobby Shamrock Paper
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Granny Apple Green Textured Ribbon, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made up this pack and my card lady never asked for any this year!
Go figure! LOL
Maybe working ahead is not a good thing!

My thoughts today...

S

With all the social distancing going on around the world I hope you still celebrate St Patrick's Day!
I will be wearing green and have my flag out on the front porch!
I used to make corned beef & cabbage for supper but stopped that a few years ago.
Do you have anything planned for your St Patrick's Day??

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day, my stamping friends!
~Wendy

Well, even if your lady didn't ask for these, chances are next year, she will and you'll be prepared! I love the green shamrock paper...I love green, but I don't wear very much of it!! Right now I'm in my bright pink bathrobe, so I guess I'd better go figure out what to wear, LOL! SO glad Shawn got rid of that nasty kidney stone, hope he feels better!

This is a great set of cards and will surely be used next year. You're a year ahead of the game - look at it that way! BTW, thank you for your sweet little st patrick's day card - I'm embarrassed to say I didn't make any this year, so I apologize for not returning your thoughtfulness. My plans today are to make the traditional corned beef and cabbage and I'll be loading the crock pot shortly. Stay safe and hopefully we'll all be OK when this is over. May the luck of the Irish shine upon you on this St Patrick's day and bring you good fortune!
I'm glad Shawn passed that stone! I've been fortunate and not had a stone in a few years now. I drink a cup of warm water with half a lemon squeezed into it and drink it first thing every morning when I get up. My body still makes kidney stones, but the lemon juice keeps them small enough to pass easily. My urologist suggested that to me, so I tried it and (fingers crossed) it's been working. Good thing I like lemons huh?
Have a happy St Patrick's day!

Super cue St. Patty's cards! Glad to hear Shawn passed the stone.
Hopefully all will calm down with the virus soon but I have my doubts. Sending good thoughts to Kels, it is gonna be rough for so many. Love you and have a great day!
