With Deepest Sympathy

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a great weekend!

The weather here in PA was SO nice!
Yesterday my hubby & I got out for a 3 mile walk on the York Heritage Rail Trail. With such nice weather it was a happening place! Families out walking their dogs or taking a bike ride, you could tell everyone is ready to get out and enjoy it while it lasts!

Today I have a sympathy card to share.
This type of card is not always easy to create but this one was pretty easy for a change!

My customer asked for a card that could be used for a man or woman, so I pulled out this beautiful set called Strength & Prayers. I love the dove! I used Dapper Denim and Soft Sky for my colors and kept my card simple.

With Deepest Sympathy:

Stamps: Strength & Prayers, Sentiment from Rubber Stampede
Ink: Dapper Denim
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Soft Sky, Whisper White
Accessories: 2 Sided Tape

So, as I was typing this out, it dawned on me that today is a month since Shawn had his surgery! I am so happy that he is over that first hurdle and things are healing nicely. By looking at his belly you can't tell he even had surgery. His incisions are healed and looking good. Some days are better than others with aches & pains but that is to be expect as he continues to heal. He is still on the low residue diet which is tough but we'll get thru it! Atleast he's back to feeling more like himself and that makes me happy!

My thoughts today.....

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great Monday!

That's such a great CAS sympathy card, and I too really like that dove. The colors you chose are perfect too! So glad Shawn is coming along nicely - that's great news!!!

Great CAS Sympathy. I like the color combo also. I tend to get stuck in a black and white or neutral color rut! Glad Shawn is healing! The diet changes do stink! Wish I could tell my younger self to eat more fiber and drink LOTS of water.

Beautiful sympathy card, Wendy. That is why it is good to have a few on hand. When we need them, we are usually too devastated to make them. The blue is perfect for either.
